I ordered furniture pads and appliances Dolly included with the truck. They wasn’t any of these inside the truck when pickup. The app advised to contact customer service. And the counter was already ON. I had to 1h store opening time to inquire those add-on. The store advised not having the appliances there and to contact customer service. I asked if going to Windmill I will find it. The repr. Said Yes. Then I went there, they didn’t have an appliance and checked with U-haul woodside. Luckily woodside store had one. I drove at least 30-35km just to pickup the appliance and I was already 1h30mn wasted on my 4h schedule time that I purchased. None of these has been taken into consideration. Ended up doing more 4h with the vehicle and got charged for all the extra. The dolly and pads were helpful at least but not happy with the logistics at all.

Not the greatest experience had to wait in the store for 30 minutes to finalize the process, equipment was not clean information about cost. We’re not shared or discussed.

Carla SHello, Today, when I opened the U-Haul truck and checked the back, I noticed that moving blankets and other items (including what looked like bed sheets) were already thrown inside the truck. I took photos of everything for documentation. The smell inside the truck was extremely bad—much worse than any U-Haul I’ve rented before. It was very unpleasant. I also found additional items left in the cab near the seat, which I had to throw in the garbage. I have pictures of all of this as well. One of the blankets was very dirty, frozen solid, and smelled terrible, so I did not use it at all. I put it aside and did not touch or use any of the blankets. Additionally, there was no dolly provided, even though it was included in my reservation. Given the condition of the truck, the unusable and unsanitary blankets, and the i didnt get any dollies that i ordered when booking, I am requesting a full refund for the blankets and the dolly. ALI MStaff had difficulty with the check in process making it much longer than usual. Vehicle had mirror damage (both blind spot mirrors) which would otherwise fail a motor vehicle inspection unless repaired. Brought this to staffs attention who acknowledged they were already aware before renting.
