I have never in my life experienced what I experienced at this location or any other place. I have used U-Haul for all my moving needs since I was a teen and have never ever had any problems until I encountered this place. A lady from this facility called me the day before my scheduled pickup to confirm the reservation. She offered me a free pickup night which i declined as i was at work and wouldn't be off until 3 which she said if i could pick-up before 6 she would still give me the complimentary pickup and she would notate my account for a 3-6pm pick-up. I was pleasantly surprised as I have never had this offer before and was so thankful for it. She was friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with. So I arrive around 430ish. Everything was going smooth and the gentlemen was going through the contract details (mileage, return date etc.). Once he was finished i went to confirm the actual date since again I have never been offered a comp night before. Before i could even finish my question the guy cut me off and said not how that works and started to repeat the whole contract terms. I started again to explain the call i received from the store and that the lady working the AM shift had said she notated my account, but before i could even finish half of that sentence he cut me off again and told me I don't think you understand what I am saying. I told him I understand just fine and went to show him the call log I had from the store again he cut me off told me to hush and that I really didn't understand the words coming out of his mouth. Now by this point i was made and i did tell him he would not talk to me like a child. He then proceeded to tell me he was cancelling my reservation and called the cops on me. My husband who was by standing called corporate right then and there to file a compliant. Once this guy realized we called corporate he came hauling out telling us, "oh i checked your account notes and you were right she did comp tonight's pick-up. Can you please just get off the phone with corporate?" No we can not. 2.5 hours later we finally get our U-Haul and we had none of the equipment we ordered, there was trash leftover from the previous movers in the cab, the truck was filthy (we returned it cleaner than when it was given to us) and i never received my promised call back from corporate (I would still like this as being treated like a criminal for something that was on our accounts the entire time is unacceptable). This gentleman was hostile and lacking customer service skills for this type of work. I work hospitality and understand unruly guest, but this was not the case. I would never tell someone hush and start moving around the counter to where my guest where standing and then call the cops on them for my mistake. I will use U-Haul for my future moving needs as i said my experience has always been wonderful aside from this one time.

The person who checked us in on Friday was incompetent. He told me at least three times that he doesn't work at this location, didn't know why our request for an appliance dolly wasn't on the order, and he was just at that location for the day. You should fire that employee!!! We had to rent an appliance dolly from Home Depot!

It took us 5 phone calls to finally get what we wanted. They said yes no problem then didnâ€™t call us back like they said so we calledâ€” no we donâ€™t have that you will have to take â€”-, another called yes - oh of course we have it.....

Don't ask for directions from the Apache location because you will be told to Google it.The insurance that adds an unnecessary expense if you have full coverage on your personal car because it covers any vehicle you use, however the man at the Apache location said no it doesn't and you can leave it here but no-one will be here until Monday because of the holiday weekend and went on to say if any damage was done to the truck after I dropped it off I would be responsible. On 2 different occasions I got chewed out because I didn't leave the truck where I was made to believe was an unsafe location. I have used u haul countless times this was the rudest location I have ever had the unfortunate luck of having my contract transfered to. Good luck

All I can say is "gruesome experience". One day late with truck, Jessica was the only bright spot, but then did not honor the price agreed to on my reservation after all. Do not use U Haul unless absolutely necessary.

No one seemed to know what was going on and there was almost no coordination between employees. A really stressful and terrible customer service experience. I have no intention of using uhaul in the future.

I liked the agent who set me up with a van. Her name is Aletha Martel. She was very helpful and set me up to keep van two additional hours. She deducted my estimated miles, that I didn't drive.

The staff are slow and so not know hownt9 checkout a truck. They play games on the computer and our pick up took almost an hour for a pre-reseved corporate rental that was a mobile check in. That costs me $70 extra because the staff are slow. The truck was parked on a slope and ice all around so truck not able to be moved. Staff didnt care and did not come help... more delays. I should send an invoice to the owner and charge them for all the wasted time we have had with rentals at this location. It is a chronic problem. We will not use this location as a regular option for these reasons. Train your staff. They need to know how to work the system and be efficient and fast. Time is money.
