I reserved my truck on Aug 17th for pick up on Oct 14th, 7am for my move that day. Only when I arrived it was not there. So instead of the 26ft truck, I had to get a 15ft. which lead to me not being able to move in one load as I had planned out. Simply thinking its ok to have customer go somewhere else for the truck is not acceptable. That is why I reserved it so far in advance. Upon talking to the guy at the store, it sounds as though the drop of time of the trucks match the pick up time for the next customer. Wow... If you are going to use this business model you should think about having more than one of a truck at a very busy and primary location. This will be the last time I use Uhaul... This is the straw that broke the camels back after how my experiences have been previously.

I had to wait an hour in line. I tried to do online check in but because I didn’t have an in state license I could not. Very frustrating because this could have easily been communicated earlier. The people ahead of us in Line had been there for 3 hours trying to get a truck because uhaul messed up the reservation so badly!! Only 1 worker on a busy Saturday. He was nice but needed more help. Very inefficient and very frustrating!

On a busy Saturday morning there was just one man working. He was hustling, but I had to wait nearly 1/2 hour online as he went out to fill propane for customers in front of me.

I had the cash for this rental plus enough for deposit I was told that I needed to go add the money to the debit card. I don't know Denver that well and I was on my bike I am glad that there was a location close. That was the first time that happened.

My only suggestion is that you have more than one person working the desk. While I was there, I had to wait 20 minutes before the guy called me. However, it is impressive that a sole person can run the store. On the downside, the phone rang several times without an answer.

I did not received a call-back promptly the very next morning to confirm my check-in of the U-haul trailer after I returned it afterhours. Instead I have to call in to make sure they received the trailer I have checked in the evening before. And U-haul system is not updated to check-in status as well. I managed to speak to the person in this location after 3 calls which routed to the call center and he has since forwarded my final receipt to me.

The assistant completed the contact got the truck and then we realized it was only a 2 seater, he quickly and efficiently redid the contract for a bigger truck and got us on our way in minutes. Great customer service

Having only one person on duty to perform all of the sales and set-up cost me perhaps 45 minutes to an hour. Then the computers weren't working correctly, which cost me another15 to 20 minutes. When I picked up the car trailer, a new employee was there and he informed me that I should NOT unhook the vehicle "Let the U-Haul person do it when you reach Ft. Bragg." When I reached FB, the person there said he COULDN"T help me unhitch the car because of liability. I had to figure it out on my own. The FB people were very nice nonetheless. What gives? In addition, I was charged for a dolly that I didn't order and didn't get!

I've seen several complaints about fuel mischarges, and it happened to me as well. paper showed 3/4 tank full, when the truck was actually only half. The rep then initialed my paper saying he will update the fuel level later. However when I returned it, I was still charged as if the tank started at 3/4 full. Stop estimating starting amounts when it's not correct.

Have clearer pricing. I rented the truck from 10 to 8pm and it is trying to charge me for 2 days. Otherwise the electronic process was fast and intuitive. Thank you.

Diego charged me $25 FOR "CLEANING" the truck without explaining why (Aug 2). After HOURS of trying to reach him I finally spoke with a CS rep at Uhaul corporate. I FINALLY learned that the charge was for not folding the pads. WE WERE NOT TOLD TO FOLD THE PADS. THERE IS NOTHING IN THE CONTRACT THAT TELLS US TO FOLD THE PADS. We returned the truck after hours, and it had been cleaned and swept out. I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO GET AN ACTION ON THIS WITH NO RESULTS AT ALL. Diego did NOT make himself available. By the time he did call I was working with Joe at Corporate (ext 923) and to this date STILL have NO resolution. This whole mess could have been avoided if we had known about the pads. I would NEVER recommend Uhaul after being treated so poorly, the worst customer experience i have ever had. Diego should have called me to explain about the $25 charge. He had my contact info. Also Jeremy at the Colorado Springs location on North Nevada submitted a service problem to corporate and said they would call back within 48 hrs and i never heard from them! I have had to initiate ALL the contacts with Uhaul. Warning to future movers, dont use Uhaul. There are others.

We bought a jerrycan for gasoline backup just in case. Little did we know that the gas tank on the GMC pickup truck is not compatible with jerrycan nozzles... had we ran out of gas we would have been stranded. I would caution your customers about that.
