There is a conflict of interest here. The operator also runs a gas station and has a vested interest in selling gas. The U-Haul representative understated the gas mileage of the vehicle I rented and encouraged me to fill the tank before leaving, indicating that it had 3/8ths of a tank and going from this location to Phoenix would use 3/4ths of a tank of gas. It did not, and I spent money on gas that I didn't need to...all at the recommendation of the U-Haul representative...to the tune of and extra $50 or more. To me, this is unacceptable behavior.

CHARLES CThe location of the truck in front of Blue Ridge filling station is a little dangers while taking pictures at pickup and drop off you are standing right at the entrance as cars are zooming in and out. This is a liability for U Haul if someone were to get hit being focused on taking pictures with the app. Other than that it is a great location to pickup a truck and the U Haul app makes it easy.
