It was my first time using uhaul. I was supposed to get an extra 30km added as I had to go to a further location to get the truck as the place I originally was to get one, didnt have any. When I went to get mt deposit back, I didnt get it because of that, I also wasnt informed I had to put gas in the truck and got dinged for that as well and it ended up costing me 125 extra. Not happy. Im a single mom of 3 and soon to be 4, I cant afford mistakes like this and it wasnt at any fault of my own. Not happy.

Not staff fault. Could read bar code he said to give me my refund. Called U-Haul They said had to be referred to field manager Talked to him today. Was only going to refund 33. Of my 125. He said I was over miles. Only did direct route so no way. Sent pics of odometer before and after. It was being calculated on mikes rather than kilometers. If I hadn’t paid with debit. Would have just refunded 33. To my debit. It was a real hassle renting this time. My rental 3 years ago went smoothly. My daughter is moving east in June. So I will be telling her to watch things closely if she uses U-Haul Was a stressful experience this time.
