Nothing was made clear when I rented tge van. I was charged $27,00 for driving a distance of 12 km. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be making a formal complaint.

The first vehicle given to us only had 39 miles in gas and the engine would not start. Inside was filthy. The second truck given had barely any traction and the brakes were almost non functional. I started my reservation 1 hour late because of their delay. They then changed my reservation time from the original 6 to 4 so now I am over time. Terrible customer service experience.
DANIKA MThey too much charger me , I booked 160$ truck 15ft I booked for 2 hours , I return after 9 hours and refill gas more then exact previous gas gauge. And then to today I see me email they charge me extra 106$ . Why ? Truck is clean , gas is full, No extra tool it rented . Then why they charge me 106$ extra. And second I came to 796 O'Connor Dr, East York, ON M4B 2S6. The one office they do car wash , u haul , customer waiting room, My waste time 2 hours to reservation truck. Mohammad II would recommend this location because the original location I had booked did not have any human beings you could talk to and after over an hour of trying to get my truck (the website wasn’t working, the app was glitching, the lock was stuck, I had to call customer service 3x) I had to be sent to a new location and pay the extra mileage between locations. Terrible experience with U-Haul but the team at this location were really helpful
Tracy GLanguage barrier for sure and poor maintenance on the truck. I basically had to find the truck on my own which then didn’t start, after the desk guy jumped it his instructions were “you probably shouldn’t shut it off”. When I hopped in the truck it said the left rear wheel tire pressure was low which then the desk guy said “it was fine and just a poor reading which would turn off” it didn’t turn off. It took me over an hour to pick up this truck which really hindered a scheduled pick up time. Very sketchy, very poor communication, and poor service.
