The experience picking up the truck was very bad, the computer locked up which cause us to wait for an hour for it to be worked out. The truck made a lot of noise.. the transmission is about to go out.

No washer fluid in truck or it is simply broken. Snowed the day before and while driving couldn’t clean windshield. Not safe. Oil light was on. The people representing Uhaul were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly, I would highly recommend anyone to rent from this location. I recognize this may not have been “their” truck but it should be retired or it’s due for some major service.

It is a basic UHaul pickup spot; the gentleman understood the contract part but was not very knowledgeable about how to connect the trailer to the car, etc. like the UHaul locations that are much larger; not a big deal since I eventually figured it out.



I was over charged and the paperwork was screwed up. I asked for no insurance but was charged anyway and the cost could not be removed when I caught it. Second it took 45 minutes to correct the paperwork screw up with the help of the main office. I would never go back.

This trailer was very heavy and hard for me to pick up to place on the hitch. I was very disappointed to see that there was no integrated trailer jack. The attendant at the pick up location was very nice and offered to help me. Both of us felt pain in our back afterwards.

Judy displayed excellent customer service she went above and beyond to assure that I had the Uhaul was securely attached to my vehicle. She recommended the proper tow hitch that I needed. Judy also recruited help from the patrons to make sure that I was safe. She went above and beyond her responsibilities to provide superb customer satisfaction. Thank you so much Miss Judy. I recommend that Uhaul store supplies such as tow hitch kits, boxes, tape and etc. in the store, opposed to having those items mailed to you home. Overall the experience was great. Thank you.

Train the people who take one's information and prepare the contract as well as do the check-in upon return. It took 30 minutes for the person to do my contract because she was NOT trained. Same thing on the check-in.

Let's see. Arrived on time (5 minutes early for 9am reservation which was completed online) and waited over an hour for a truck. Tank was 3/4 full. How are you supposed to return a 3/4 full tank? Run engine while filling? Felt like I was duped. Returned with a full tank but was not given a refund? Also, called Uhaul help line while I was waiting and was on hold for 8 mins. The recording kept urging me to complete the online feedback form so Uhaul could improve the service?!?! All in all. . Not real pleased with Uhaul. Not impressed with the Edgewater location. They seemed much more interested in helping folks with the lottery/Keno than putting me in a truck in a timely fashion.

truck has serious front end issues. Felt like the wheels would fall off. Gas tank was not full (3/4 tank). Rep who rented to me was nice and helpful, but clerk who took key at return knew nothing. It's all okay for the price.

The service attendant at this location was nice, but sadly that's about the only positive part of my experience here. Rented a trailer, and this cost $20+ more than expected from what I reserved online. Then was told to pick up trailer and hook it up to my truck. I asked for assistance b/c this is what I have had before. Attendant replied she didn't know how to do it. Then I had to request help from stranger to lift trailer onto my hitch. I followed the instructions, but then found the electrical wiring did not reach from trailer to my truck hookup. I told attendant, who told me the only option was take the (illegal, non-lighted) uhaul to the nearest auto store and buy my own connector. She said I would be reimbursed for my purchase. I did as she said, and fixed the trailer myself. I called uhaul for reimbursement and have yet to be reimbursed. I was told only the pickup location can do this. I did all of the work myself here and it cost me $40+ more than expected. Very disappointing experience and I would still like to be reimbursed for fixing their equipment.
