Both the man and the women were wonderful. The girl from D&S messed up the contract and did not write down the right equipment numbers. So returning was a little difficult. The women stated that she would get it handled. They were great to work with. A lot more professional.

please have personnel tell people when they 'rent' blankets they are a 'lone' only so when they return the truck the blankets have to come back with it...other wise all was terrific.....thank-you K

They would not honor the free month's storage offer from U-haul. Per the message online, we thought they were to honor it. Also, at first I was advised that I could pay for the pickup in Roseville at Elko office and then I couldn't do that afterall. This made it somewhat inconvenient.

First, as I ordered the truck online, the rental price indicated that taxes and mileage was to be included at the rental rate. Secondly, when I spoke to the young male agent he asked what I meant to load on the truck, I told him and he showed me the next size up. I asked him what the price difference was, he said he would let me have it at the same rate as the 10 foot truck, when he went out to switch trucks the female agent started the paperwork and not only charged me an higher rate for the rig but also charged more taxes. I asked about it and she flatly told me I was wrong! I copied all my receipts and the original contract said $153.00 taxes included, I wound up paying close to $170.00. If taxes are not included in the stated quoted price the online prices should be corrected, and if one agent states one price they should both be in agreement. Also the rear view mirrors were not adjustable, if I wanted to change lanes I had to stoop forward until my chest touched the steering wheel. I mentioned that to the receiving agent and he couldn't adjust it either. Other than that the truck ran well and I was otherwise pleased with the rental. Thank you for you time and interest. more communication with your dealerships! my reservation's was guarnteed at the other location in elko and when i went to pickup the 26' truck they did not have one available so i had to waste time to try and find another one which was this location but all they had was a 20' and the lady on the phone said she would give us a trailer FREE OF CHARGE which i ended up paying for then the lights on the trailer did not work we took it back and because they were in the process of closing they could not do a refund so the trailer got left behind!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The person in charge of the area would not/refused to let me talk to his superior concerning a gift certificate that was purchased online and refused to offer any coupons or discounted future services or credit card refunds for a 45 dollar charge when I still had 60 dollars available on a online gift certificate bought through He was an extremely rude man and I will never recommend any uhaul service through his jurisdiction.

The U-haul rental said to pick up at one location, then the U-haul was actually at another. This was a little bit frustrating as they called me to make sure I was coming but didn't let me know the pick up location was different. Then I had recieved an email confirming my reservation. It said that the U-haul was good until the 1st of the month and then i recieved an email telling me it was late. So I called and a very rude lady informed me that it must be a mistake. and that I had to return it today. I explained to her that the U-haul had broke down on the way to my destination and I had only arrived the night before. She reluctantly agreed that I could have until the following day. I can understand that things happen, and the truck breaking down and having to stay a night in a strange town (with my husband's extended family as we could not afford a motel) was not a big deal. However being treated rudely over the phone because my U-haul was over due despite the email confimation I have was upsetting. It is very difficult to unload a 26ft U-haul in 2 days exspecially when you have a 3 year old, a 10 month old and a dog. I had to work both days so my poor husband unloaded everything by himself.

Honestly, I've had it with U-haul. I used the service 3 times and all 3 times its been miserable. Either late getting me the required equipment, broken equipment, or the wrong equipment. If I could have used a different provider for this self move I would have.

The "girl" that answered the phone was extremely rude. I believe her name was Christa or Kristy. There was some confusion on our corporate move reservation. The date was a day later than we needed it to be. She was extremely unhelpful and told me that she didn't work for UHaul and their system was their system. When we finally went to pick up the truck she sat cross legged on the back counter and watched a young man help us. He had problems entering the information and we asked if we could add insurance after he'd processed the transaction. He told us that he didn't know how to do that once it was in the system. I asked him if he could delete that order and re-enter it with insurance. He said he didn't know and asked me if that's what I wanted him to do. I asked him one more time if we'd lose the whole reservation and he said he didn't know and stated "is that what you want me to do?". I said I didn't know as I didn't know the "system" he did and he said "it's not my system, it's UHauls". I definitely think that the staff at the Elko Stor-All need some customer service skills training. They were both rude and condescending. I supervise front line, customer service positions in my organization and if I'd heard any of my staff talking to customers the way I was talked to they would be disciplined.
