The location for pick up is very convenient. I included furniture pads on my order and was told "no, we don't have those" when I arrived to pick up the truck. If furniture pads (or any other "value add" equipment) isn't available at a specific site, the customer should be made aware in advance. I haven't rented a u-haul in over 20 years so the self serve approach via the app was new for me. Every time I asked the person on-site a question about the process, the answer always started with.."THEY... want you to do ...) ... for the customer, THEY and YOU (the person I am speaking to) is the same person. If these off-brand locations can't represent your brand and aspirations for customer service then the company should reconsider this third-party model.
