The app is terrible and licked me out multiple times. I would have preferred to just work with a person to check me in. Also, boxes and blankets were left in the van and had to be cleared out, delaying me. And it smelled like food grease.

Picking up a U-Haul at a non-U-Haul location using the app was very difficult and convoluted process. I would not recommend renting a U-Haul using this method.

Spenser MTruck had less than 1/4 tank when I started the rental. In the back was a loose dolly and ~6 unfolded moving blankets scattered about. I asked for neither in my rental.
Jake CDid not have the equipment I reserved. Truck was parked behind building, normally that would be ok but with all the rain and mud had difficulty getting out. Inside of the truck was not clean/swept out. There was no pre rental inspection of damages to the truck, how many miles were on the truck, or the amount of gas in the truck. The clerk simply looked up my reservation and gave me the keys.

Mary HRented a 15-foot truck and drove it 34 miles during my whole rental. Put 5 gallons into the tank before returning it and the store claimed I returned it at 1/8th of a tank when I received the truck at 1/4th of a tank. Ridiculous, and was charged an extra 60 dollars for what should have been only a 100-dollar charge.

John EPickup was ok, but very slow. When the truck was dropped off we were not provided a receipt and was told one would be emailed shortly. This was not done and it came as a surprise to see that we were charged around $60 more then we expected. When I inquired about the additional charge I was told it was because I returned the truck with insufficient fuel. This is a lie as I filled the truck right at the place I rented it with the amount required per the rental agreement. Word to the wise — take pictures of the fuel gauge before returning the keys to avoid being swindled.
John MI ordered the van and calculated the miles to and from the location. I was told the total would be $100 with collision insurance. However, I was charged $173 after I left the location. I was not provided an explanation. I will never use this location again.

Min SThe person working there was friendly and helpful. But he had to take a call and I stood around waiting on him. The area is messy and dirty. The only reason I needed a person’s associate because the app did not load properly and because I could not determine if I had properly checked in online. I became frustrated because I kept having to input information.
