I processed everything online. When I went to access the key it didn't tell me where to find the lock. It was on the back of the truck but it didn't say it anywhere so I had to call the regional office.

Rip off. I never did electronic check in. I met the guy at the shop. I only used the truck 6 hours. It was on the lot when I called him (long before it was due). He basically said, you should have used the automatic system. He didn't care.

The gentleman was hampered by his inability to access my online reservation. I don't know if it was his lack of knowledge of the computer system or a flaw in the system itself. I waited for 30 minutes in 85 degree temperatures to finally get the key to the van. I came very close to cancelling the entire thing. I will not recommend you to anyone.

I rented a Uhaul 1 day online. I picked it up at 1pm and returned it at 7pm the same day. I called when I got an additional charge. It was 11 am the next day. The owner said I didn't check out online. He wouldn't refund the second day, even though the truck was on the lot and even though day 2 hadn't even occurred. It's a scam. I tried to return the Uhaul online but my password and the email used would no longer work. It was the same email they sent my double charge receipt on. I tried doing live chat, they wouldn't respond.I tried sending email but it re-routed me to live chat. I tried calling but gave up after being on hold 20 minutes. I filed a claim with my American Express. Don't use this business. I drove it less than 5 miles and they charged for my estimate of 10. I live here. If they treat a local like this, out of staters don't have a chance. Shameful business. The man running it doesn't know how to use a computer. He was like "Oh well, call the corporate number. You'll be on awhile. Don't take the risk using this outfit.

I was told to return online via the app. The app would not recognize my location. We wasted 20 min of travel time trying to do it but thank goodness the owner was there and after our failed attempts issued us a receipt.

I returned the equipment after hours. Follow the online return procedures or be willing to be charged extra. Renting a Uhaul truck is not like renting a car. Uhaul expects you to clean the vehicle for the next renter or be charged a fee. A word to the wise, you may think you have reserved two pieces of equipment with one contract. Be sure to check to see if they split it into two contracts. If you are driving on toll roads, check to see that cash payments are accepted or be prepared for potential billing complications. I know of at least one bridge with a toll that only accepts cash payments by mail or credit card after crossing the bridge. The bridge prefers EZPass. Who has EZPass in the UHaul rental? Overall, this rental process and experience was very flawed. I hope to never do it again.

The attendant there was incredibly helpful!!! He saved me a wasted trip out there when the previous renter was late returning the van!! He let me know that when I called to ask some questions, so I was able to take a later bus and avoid having to wait around in Ellsworth for 3 hours!! Many, many thanks to him! He treated me with kindness and courtesy. He's the reason I would recommend U Haul!!

I had the trailer back before the 12hrs was up. I did the check in online, it was confusing. You can look on the location cameras and see it was returned. I use uhaul frequently and I never will again. Every other time I've just dropped an left. Not had to go thru this process.and how you have charged me double!

The guy here was helpful at first. He showed me the truck told me it was 19.95 for the day n make sure it comes back clean and same amount of gas. No other information was related to me. Now that being said. I never knew about any dolly or pads and I wasnt told there was no ramp. The cab of truck was dirty and when I got home I freaked out because 100.00 went missing from my account. I called this guy and he said he didnt take any thing the company did. Once he got the credit card information he wasnt interested in explaining anything! Found out the hard way that 100.00 was a deposit, which we werent told about! When i brought the truck back he didnt acknowledge me, didnt ask any questions and was to visit in his cell.phone to even take the keys. I called today asking about the refund and once again he was rude and told me HE DIDNT TAKE ANY THING. HERE CALL THIS NUMBER AND GAVE ME A 844 NUMBER. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS MAN! If you want a great experience or even a good one DONT GO TO THE BOGGY BROOK WAY UHAUL!!
