The van reeked of barn or wet animals and really was not suitable for rental.

Do not deal with this uhaul (Snaxit 475 NJ 4 W Englewood, NJ 07631). they will add insurance charge without your consent and tell you it's automatic. And tells me that I reserved with insurance. I told him I reserve it without insurance. And he said call uhaul company, because he can not do anything. They should not be a part of uhaul company.

My recent rental experience went smoothly despite a few hickups. The person before me returned the truck 2 hours late but the nice manager (I forgot his name) actually gave my roommate and I a lift back home to wait for the truck (it was Sunday and no other trucks were available). They also gave us free water while waiting. They really care about providing great service.

OUTRAGEOUS THIEVES. I returned the vehicle with PRECISELY the amount of fuel I went out with, and in fact filled it to the line at their station. I also have a photo of the person's contract AFTER MINE, and it says EXACTLY what it was supposed to say. REGARDLESS, they charged me a $20 refill charge. I am either going to submit a charge back, or you will reimburse me the $20.

The person who handles U-haul services was not there for my pick up schedule, so I had to wait for more than 30 minutes. However, he was nice guy overall and went by the rule when I returned the vehicle. Nothing was overcharged.

I called Uhaul to get a drop off location for the same day of the rental. I was texted with the info of the drop off location. I was told the hours of the place. When I arrived at Roadway Cafe late afternoon there wasn't a sol in the place. Again I called Uhaul and spoke with a very nice lady who seamed to be trying her best to help me. Her system gave her an alternate drop off place which was further out of my way. I was sent a text with new drop off location. I had her confirm that everything was set for me to drop off vehicle at the new location. When I arrived at the new location they had no idea that I was coming. After sometime they managed to fix the issue off the drop off. I am so disgusted with Uhaul! It's just mind boggling how a company that's so big and has been around for a long time can operate in this inefficient manor. So like I said in my previous review of the pick up location I will NOT recommend or use Uhaul again if I can absolutely help it.

I will be contacting headquarters immediately . I was double charged. Then told too pay the difference in cash . I also made a reservation and it was cancelled and sent to a different location. Once I got to the location they didn’t have the 10 foot truck I had the reservation for. Never again will I use UHAUL !

I want to say thank you to the store manager. He helped me a lot today. My experience with Uhaul customer service call was extremely bad, they messed up my reservation and didn't offer any help. But the store manager tried his best to help me to get the vehicle with a good price. I highly recommend this place.

I had reserved a Uhaul truck online for the location in Teaneck. Once I arrived there, the office was closed and the truck I had reserved was piled back behind other moving trucks. So I was unable to get the truck there. Had to call and get the Truck elsewhere

1) i scheduled a pick up for 11 am and came by at 12 to pick up the van. I called multiple times in the morning, so that I could tell someone I was coming late, and no one answered the phone. 2) The agent who helped me tried to get me to sign away the insurance that I had paid for (by signing the slip saying I accept responsibility for the damages even though the receipt includes the cost of the insurance). 3) I found that my receipt listed the van as checked out at 9:21 AM and I would lose 3 of my 24 hours because of this. I called them to fix this and was told it’s ok. 2) called customer service to ensure the issue was fixed and they wanted to charge 40 dollars even after I explained that the error was on the part of the gas station from which I rented. Someone could have reached out to the rental location. 3) it was a Gas station and did not sell boxes or tape
