We waited for nearly an hour to pick up the equipment because computers weren't working, making us late to move our things and workers waiting on us. We then returned the vehicle only to have to wait again for 45 minutes because computers were down again. Personnel were rude and uncooperative, changing the amount owed 3 times. We will not use UHaul again, at least at this location.

They are so slow, had to wait for them. Finally hooked up the trailer myself then had to wait so that they could check it. Never did come out, finally had it and left.



I dropped off the rented uhual the evening before I needed to and didn't need to talk to anybody. The key/rental agreement box was easy to find.

Was asked at pickup location if I would prefer to drop unit at Fairfield I said “yes if no additional charges” was told that there would NOT be additional charges! Was never given any form of written contract or asked to sign one, then when questioning as to why charges where so high was informed that $88 was added because of a one way trip, when attempting to resolve this was given a complete run around. UHall ??????????????????????????????

Check out took a long time, no one to help hook up trailer or unhook at check in. Had to have someone called twice to get help at the counter for check in. All in all this was not a good experience and I have rented at other locations and not had problems. We are going to need another trailer for the first weekend in August and not sure I want to do this again at this location or find a private trailer to rent.

Truck was on empty even though listed as 1/8 tank and crack in windshield passenger side but I purchased insurance sad this truck wasn’t looked over Also blankets and boxe in back which I didn’t order return all and put 1/4 of gas in it at turn in side in Coralville IA

I was told if I only kept the trick for 2 days instead of 4. I would only be charged for 2 days. When I got to Colorado and took the truck they said i would be charged for 4 days.

The transmission of the truck was not in good order. It struggled to get out of first gear every time I accelerated. On top of that the battery died twice, which ended up wasting a lot of my time trying to find people to jump it. Ended up having to leave it running so that the battery wouldn’t die. Giving two stars instead of one because in the end it did get the job done. I explain the situation to true value, but they did not offer a discount.

The customer services at this location was sub-par, they are not helpful or friendly at all. When reserving, picking up the truck and dropping it off the interactions with them took about 20-30 minutes every time, which cut into the time I had reserved the truck for and the time I had left over afterward to take care of anything else with the move. The driver's side door handle was also broken and wouldn't open the door, so I had to get in and out of the passenger's door every time. There was a twix bar wrapper sitting in the cab of the truck when we got in, it obviously hadn't been cleaned.

They tried to charge us an extra day, even though the contract lady on the phone reservation said we sould not have to pay. In the end, the check in guy let it go.
