Your reservation system is awful. After making a reservation 3 weeks in advance of pick up, I received a confirmation stating the selected equipment, times and locations. I then received a phone call 2 DAYS before the move that this equipment was "not available" at my location. When I questioned this, I was rudely informed that my email confirmation was only confirming my "request", not my contract. I had to drive 115 miles round trip from my location to secure the desired equipment which altered our moving day plans significantly. Making a reservation means NOTHING. How is one supposed to plan when you have no idea if the "requested" equipment will actually be available? Shouldn't it be the responsibility of U-Haul personnel have gotten the available truck to my desired pick up location? No way to run a service industry!!!Craig A.

I have had two experiences with this location in the process of this move over the past 3 weeks. The first time, I waited a very long time for someone to help me, only to be told that they had already unhooked the trailer and I didn't need to stick around (not sure how long I waited after that was done, but no one told me it had been handled until I asked for the 4th or 5th time. The TruValue store is unorganized, the primary rep for UHaul at the store was wearing her mask around her chin and had a bad attitude. I spent a lot of time there unnecessarily and left frustrated. On the second drop off at this location (March 22), I figured out how to unhook the trailer myself and left it after hours to avoid the frustration of dealing with them.sheryl G.

Uhaul's insistence on using a mobile app to verify the return of a rental truck was extremely annoying. It was dark, freezing cold and Uhaul's genius idea was to take their verifying survey in the middle of a blizzard! My phone was dead because there was no way of charging it in the truck and the threat of a $20 added fee just because I couldn't follow some idiotic protocol was unreasonable and very irritating! Did not have the truck size I wanted (broken trucks on the lot, giving the appearance of having more available than what there was), so I had to go one size larger. Lady that checked me out was not friendly at all, boarder line rude. The truck windshield was covered with bugs. The truck had an odor inside. Was not pleased at all. Also left a quarter of a tank more in it, I texted about that with no reply from U-Haul. But yet I was charged more for mileage overage, least that's what I think it was for. The counter person mumbled, started conversations with two other people while processing my order, was vague in her responses. Started walking away from me, leaving me standing at the counter. I called, "Hey am I supposed to follow you?" To which she nodded. She could use some instruction in customer service - look them in them eye, speak clearly, tell them what you are going to do, say please follow me, and thank you for doing business with us.Monica M.
