I was a walk-in customer; yet I was taken care of promptly. I thought I could do a reservation with a prepaid Visa card; however, I able to use it to complete my transaction. i was short on gas while returning, prolly by a small fraction (i think half gallon), I was charged $8 for it as it is UHaul policy for the min.(from what i was told). If this could have been waived, i would have loved my experience even more :)

When I picked up the truck no one from U-Haul checked inside the box to see if the blankets and dolly were sealed. I know this because the lift door was frozen shut and required two of us to open it. I also had to get one of the associates to come outside to note some damage to the truck that had previously gone unrecorded. When I returned the truck they tried to charge me for the use of the dolly. I stated that I did not use it and was told that the seal was broken so therefore I will be charged. I refused and the one associate (possibly she was a manager) said that their associates are "trained" to look for the broken seals. That was interesting since no one checked the truck prior to me taking it since the rear door was frozen shut. I stated that I would contact my credit card company and dispute the charges so she finally told the other associate to waive the charge, but her attitude made it obvious she did not believe me. I stated that had I used it the wheels would not have been clean and dry (the dolly looked new, unused). She continued with her attitude. I would not recommend this location due to their lack of proper pre-rental inspection and poor attitude.

I had a equipment problem with the 15' truck that I rented on 12/26/17. The problem was with the slide up rear lift door when unlatched (the slide up rear door railing was sticking when trying to lift open and required force to open each time). The sticking slide rail on the rear lift door caused a piece of my furniture to get damaged. When I returned the truck I explained the problem to the customer service representative in which case she made a note to have the site manager give me call today 12/27/2017 to discuss the matter.

Regards, I reserved for 10 feet truck online on 12/13. The truck was not ready at arrival, it took 35+ minutes to get he truck ready. The supplies requested appliance dolly, boxes, and wraps were not provided even though paid night before. I realized it when reached at the site for moving the items, Secondary to the error, I could not move all the items in planned time and had to put a lot of physical effort. None the less, while it is understandable that errors happen. The inconvenience and the destruction of plan was lot more and difficult to forget soon. Sorry for the negative comment. Hope to get better service down the line in future or substantial compensation and refund for the things not provided. Maharshi Luhana.
