I feel like I got ripped off. I got the truck at mid afternoon and brought it back at closing. The cashier told me I would receive money back for turning the truck early. I didn't receive anything back. My bill was 38.78 to 46.78 to an additional $10.00 charged after turning in the keys before 8 am the next morning. This is deceiving and bad business. I put the gas back in the truck. I paid almost sixty dollars for this uhaul and feel that I have been deceived and ripped off.

The lady who checked us out in the very beginning was so kind. She was very quick and had us out on our way in no time. When we returned the truck the guy that “checked us in” was nothing short of a jerk. There was a truck in the bay where I was supposed to park so I parked ours next to it and he told me to move it. When he spoke to us he had a lot of attitude and mumbled under his breath. I don’t use this service all the time and when we had asked what to do next there was type direction and we were ignored. Very clear this person doesn’t like their job, I really just wanted to leave the truck there and go home. The lady Kimberly inside was pretty whatever. They were all sitting behind the desk I had to really introduce myself and then we were told to wait like 3 times cause the guy outside wasn’t done. I was just trying to figure out if we had to pay any more even though we were in our mileage range. We went through uhaul because it’s affordable and we were doing a local move. I don’t foresee us coming back to this location again after this fiasco. The last time we used uhaul it was so easy, this time it was terrible. We left and there was a giant line behind us. Honestly, a mess. Didn’t even get a receipt because we just wanted to get out.

Called in advance to have trailer ready for the following morning and it took over an hour to get the trailer due to incompetence of employees sending out the wrong trailer. The individual who hooked up the trailer did not do any kind of inspection prior to leaving the facility and when I brought it back a full inspection took place. How would this establishment know if there were damages prior to me leaving with the equipment. customer service was poor and when returning the trailer the individual in the return area was not polite and it was not convenient in any way. I really hope that training in customer service and being accountable for this company’s equipment will take place.

The Fayetteville location was great, but the one in Schaumburg shouldn’t even exist as the person running it seems extremely incompetent and can’t even provide a receipt for services.

Everyone I encountered was pleasant and patient with me. Over the phone, and in person, the staff at this establishment answered all of my questions. I was able to get the best deals, and leave out and return as a satisfied customer. Moving for me was a hassle, so I'll probably just hire movers next go round, but driving that big u-haul truck around town was really actually fun.

I Rented a 5X9 trailer from this location and also reserved a utility dolly. Only to wait 30mins to get the trailer and another 45mins for them to hook up the trailer as we where told we couldnt not do it ourself. I was also sold a ball and hitch that was missing parts. After 2hrs of calling U-Haul 1-877 phone number to locate and get ability dolly due to that fact that U-Haul stores and U-Haul main computer system clearly don’t link correctly. I was told 4 different places had the dolly I needed only to call the location to find out it wasn’t there. It was to the point my wife was on her cell phone with Aaron at the 1-877 phone number and my cell phone calling each location to check and see if it was there after having been failed 2x by ending the call and is driving half way to the location and calling to be good we don’t have them. After this messing with finding a dolly we had to extend our trailer rental in which I called the Bragg Blvd location and they sent me to back to Aaron at 1-877 number and he moved the trailer due back time to 2:30 Sunday the 14th at no extra charge to us. We got a very less than pleasent phone call at noon from a lady demanding to know where the trailer was and was to be returned at midnight. After a 10min talk with her we, being rude we just gave up and returned the trailer, with only half our move done. (In the phone call she finally said 2:30 and yet the comformatiom email said due back by 1:24pm so we returned by then to avoid any forther). We now have had to push our move out another day and cause so much undue stress with trying to rent 2 simple items from this place. We rent a U-Haul storage from this Bragg Blvd location since 2014. Needless to say we are very disappointed in the service all around the U-Haul company this weekend. Over this course of Saturday and Sunday we only found one person from store level on up that was good to there word and was a great pleasure to deal with and very helpful. That was where we finally after 2hr was able to rent the dolly from from 4784 on Raeford rd (which is 30mins the other way from our moving area). Sincerely, Garrett Darby.
