Truck was very dirty and smelled strong of cigarettes. Fuel was almost empty and they claimed it was 1/4 tank. I sent pictures of fuel gauge before and after and I was still charged extra for leaving it with “no” fuel. Instructions were not clear on how to return truck lock. Drop box was not on the front of building as indicated. Overall a terrible experience.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with U-Haul. It took over 2 hours just to get help over the phone, being transferred multiple times with no clear answers. The support team was slow, unhelpful, and showed no urgency at all. For a company of this size, this level of service is unacceptable. I will seriously reconsider using U-Haul again in the future
Sameer AStopp d by the day before. Attendant said he would leave the keys inside and a combination lock. Would send me the combination. Never sent combination and was unlocked . Later had to do online sign on from home.
