I was renting a truck to pick something up from a u-haul storage facility, which is where I originally made my reservation for, but then it was changed to this one. it was a bummer having to pay for 10 extra miles when my round-trip would’ve initially only been 8. on top of that, I opted out of the $15 insurance but it seems I was charged for it anyway. what I initially budgeted to be about $30 (20 rental charge, 8 for mileage, plus a couple bucks for gas and tax) ended up being $65. that’s an insane price just to rent a pick-up truck for an hour and a half and I’m pretty upset. that amount of money definitely means more to me than this giant company.
