Not happy that my return was rejected by the initial local store assigned (open but said had no space available) and was sent miles farther away to a rather sketchy place that was closed, in a construction area and had very hard to find visible signage of where to pull in for return. Then UHaul makes me do all the work with a self return. This is now my third less than stellar interaction with UHaul. It’s not the local stores it’s the parent company’s lack of regard for it’s customers. Why do you rent trucks for long moves that do not even have cruise control?? That makes drivers get fatigued faster putting everyone at risk.
