I ordered a truck for Saturday and had my entire move planned around that reservation. Unfortunately, the truck was given to someone else, and no one contacted me to let me know. I only found out when I got to the pickup location, and I was asked to go to another U-Haul location to find another one. This was extremely frustrating and stressful, especially when you're moving out and have already organized your entire day around a confirmed truck reservation. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but giving away a reserved truck without even notifying the customer is very disappointing. Better communication would have made a big difference.
