Only one person working there so we didn't do a inspection so when I took the truck back they said my mileage was over. hum I did she the lady driving that same truck so I think she added those miles on me I don't know. My drive was only 20 miles I think someone just trying to nickel and dime you. Next move I do I'll go to enterprise

Rented van located in Sierra, Fontana on April 7, 2018 for 21/2 hours was already closed that Saturday..Left key to the dropped off box by the door..On April 9 Monday charging me $89 for the total mileage 45 miles and rent for the day..Surprisingly U haul sierra sent me a text message the next day that I’m renting it until April 11..called Sierra office goes to answering machine then I called U haul Office complaining but nothing happened..On April 11 checked my debit card and now charging me $85 which is lower than the original charged $89..Transaction changed again on Friday April 13, charging me $135..when is this going to stop changing? Overcharging me? Is this the way U haul make money? I’m so disappointed.. Now I have to file a claim..such a hassle..If they’re doing this to all their customers for them to survive..that’s cheating. i was not going to allow U haul in Sierra Fontana to be one of their victims..hope this review will serve as a lesson..

First of all my experience went down hill right from the start. My rating of poor for the overall experience was for 2 locations. I did the online application which prompted me to a preferred pick up location which was PSP Homecare in Rancho Cucamonga. When I arrived they told me my pick up location was in Fontana on Sierra which was 15 miles away. I didn't find this out until I waited an hour because the lady there didn't know how to do rentals and the guy would be back in 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes were actually 45 minutes. When he returned I showed him my confirmation email that showed I was to pick up there. After going back & forth I left passed off and went to Fontana. Fontana actually did 1 thing right and changed my reservation to be online self check in because they were closed when I got there. In following the prompts for online check in the vehicle reserved for pick up was not the a actual vehicle they had on my contract to pick up. I did the damage inspection on the vehicle scheduled to pick up and didn't realize it was a different truck until I got the keys from the lock box. When I tried calling customer service to notify them the automatic answer system rang for over 10 minutes before I hung up. I needed the truck so I drove away. When I did the wrench & oil light on the dashboard were on not to mention the window molding on the drivers side on the front windshield flipped up while traveling down the freeway which caused me to swerve in to the next lane almost hitting a car. My overall experience couldn't get any worse and I will not rent from U-Haul again. I will take my business to Budget or Penske which will be in 3 weeks when I need to rent another truck to take my belongings out of storage when my home is ready to move back in to.

Truck had trash in it and old coffee in the cup holder. Lady working there couldn’t care less and when I went to return the truck no one was there. I waited almost an hour after calling to leave a voicemail I found the mail box was full and I couldn’t. Finally decided just to put the truck key in the overnight drop box.

Very unprofessional, the woman how worked there lived in the trailer in the back. She was late to open the store and also very rude and unprofessional. She was still dressed in pajamas and there was drug paraphernalia in the office. It was obvious she was on drugs. I took pictures of the incident. I also gave her $100 cash deposit which she said I did not give her. Which then created more hassle when I returned the truck. Very unprofessional an embarrassment to Uhaul.

Vehicle was supposed to be ready for me using the app supported key pick up which didn’t work. An associate was available, which I appreciated the manager providing, however the associate was confused, couldn’t figure out the drop off without my help and was generally unorganized.
