Not enough check in staff at Sunday opening. Should have an express lane for people who are 100% pre-booked and pre-checked in. Waited a full half hour in the single line. Precious moving time!

I got there exactly 7:57pm. Right before 8:00pm. The guy didn't want to assist me. He was counting his register and didn't want to take another transaction. My original pick up was suppose to be in Ontario them you guys change locations last minute on me to Fontana. Such an inconvenience especially that I flew in to Ontario. I called the uhaul and got a call center told them I may be 2-5 minutes late he message the location and said it wouldn't be a problem. After asking the guy he finally let me in and I had to explain my situation. I wanted to pay cash but since he balanced his drawer he said the only way I can pick up is with credit card.

The vehicle maintenance is very poor. We had just picked up the u-haul truck and after a quick 3 mile drive home loaded up our cargo. While moving furniture and driving on the 210 freeway west of the 57 freeway (approximately 13-15 miles later) I experienced a left front tire malfunction at 65 mph (flow of traffic speed). After hearing a loud bang, I looked into the left side view mirror to see a long piece of tire tread flopping off into the distance. I had to control the u-haul truck while driving between 2 large big rigs without bumping into either of them and causing a major accident. After safely stopping the u-haul truck in the emergency lane and calling the u-haul roadside service #, they quoted at least a 75 minute response time which turned out to be quite longer. The icing on the cake was when I returned the truck and tried to tell the u-haul clerk what happened, it felt as if he wasn't getting the point at all. He was too busy telling me the tire was good (referring to the markings on the remaining 3 tires and when they were put on). The tire wasn't good clearly or it wouldn't have had the malfunction to begin with. Funny thing, I didn't see him inside the truck with me during this incident (so he wasn't there). I was trying to tell him that the other tires on the truck were low on tread life and that the truck might want to be taken off line and checked before being reassigned out for use. He told me, the tires were fine. Wow, I had a bad experience and while trying to tell the business (as a customer who is a paying customer) some advice, the u-hail clerk was too busy trying to over talk what I was suggesting. So I left out of there saying wow, u-haul would rather pinch pennies on putting new tires on a truck and risk someone getting seriously injured or killed than listen to the customer and fix the problem. We all will see how u-haul does if someone should get seriously hurt and or killed (hopefully not) and have to pay out a major lawsuit then. Let see if they listen then. Don't tell me I blew out the tire from probably running over a nail when in fact that's not what happened at all. The entire tread seperated from the tire which would be more in line as a defective tire or a retreaded tire. The tire never went flat but then if you're too busy not listening to the customer, you wouldn't get that part !!!!!! That's the problem with companies and businesses these days. Everyone is too big and busy to listen to the people (the customers) that got them to where they are. EPIC FAILURE !!!!!!!!!

The location is great and their service is excellent .I am a regular customer. I use your service a lot but this time I was not happy. This month I made two reservations from the same location at the beginning of the month .Then few days before picking up I called to confirm. I discovered that my reservation was canceled. I told customer service I didn't cancel. Then they found me another place in another location in Upland.They gave me the address and the phone number. A day before pick up I called Upland location to discover that I have no reservation there at all. Again,I called customer service to discover I still have my first reservation at the first place at the same time I want. What is this?If this continue and I have shows to do I cannot depend on you.This is scary.

I rented an appliance dolley, returned it in my pickup truck. The associate Ivan greeted me in the "equipment return" line by saying "you can't park here." No hello, I'm sorry, just rude.

I am so appreciative of the friiendliness and professionalism of the associates there. My move hit some unexpected rough spots, and I had to change my pick up time and tentatively change my drop of time. The person who helped me was so nice and helpful. Even the person who checked out my truck outside was so wonderful. Explained what the x markings were, and reminded me that if I had any problems, that they were a phone call away. I have always used U-Haul and have always received such excellent service!

Check out was very easy using the online reservation tool. There was an hour wait time to check equipment back in due to a large number of customers waiting for the store to open on Sunday morning.

Your trouble hot phone line is terrible. The "1" for this and "2" etc for that is the pitts. It's hard to hear on a cell phone and even worse if there is nearby traffic. When I finally got hold of someone, I was cut off. My second attempt reached a lady that had no idea what I was talking about when I was telling her my problem. (vehicle holddown strap on auto transport broke).

The person helping me asked me if I wanted my receipt she didn't tell me what my total was. The other young man helping another couple told him how much the total was and ask her if they wanted to pay with cash or leave it on their card. How would I know how much my total was without a receipt or without the young lady telling me what my total was?

We ordered on line - and we had to wait for the vehicle to be sweeped. WIndows had to be cleaned. The unit didn't even have the UHAUL log on it. And I got charged for $8 dollars extra

Truck was filthy inside and out. On top of that it was a 26ft truck worth below half a tank of gas. I rented the truck on the 4th at 1:15 and returned it that night after hours. I get a phone call on the 6th asking me to return the uhaul. No organization. How do you lose a 26ft truck in front of your front doors. Keys were placed in the drop box. I will never use that uhaul facility again.
