The location was very cluttered and dirty, as well as poorly lit. My drop off time was 10:30 am. The person on site was not comfortable using the phone/computer and had a difficult time printing me a receipt. My largest complaint has nothing to do with location. I was charged $5.20 for going five miles over. The shortest route used for calculating my trip directs a person through Big Sky, Montana. There was a three day snow storm at that time. Most people do not drive that route during snowy times but use the route through Dillon, MT to Whitehall, MT. This route is slightly longer but much safer during winter travel. I would like to have the $5.20 refunded back to me for that reason. I returned the truck one day earlier than my contract, more fuel than I picked it up with, and damage free. I was disappointed to receive an upcharge for a 5 miles overage during Montana winter travel.

Great customer service
Reynold BonitzHave staff present during business hours. Answer the phone. With that, will also note I've done a little motel management in East Glacier Park and, as this is a U-Haul station attached to a motel as primary business, no worries. Been there, done that. Door was open, I could have found someone (or the free snack bar). Sign w/phone # to call for UH was same as biz; had msg option so just told 'em I'd park the trailer and have a nice day. Half a century past or not, trailer hitches always seemed a mystery and hassle when watching my dad with the boat trailer. 2.5 seconds of flashback worry, totally mute as the equipment has been fine-tuned since the 1900s and unhooked all with zero problem. As noted on pickup, trailers are finely balanced and did not have to use any extra cyborg power. In fact, I was rather annoyed it was that easy and likely could have saved a lot of gas simply walking it ... ohwait. empty. ALMOST. ONLY CASUALTY was my own omission. Because no staff was around (again; almost quicker, an employee need not be interrupted nor exposed to my personality or yammer and had no problem) I took a quick video clip to show the trailer was there, empty and clean inside. Only on review did I notice my beloved pizza pan still secure behind a frame board where I so cleverly placed it. So stay in school, kids, or you too may have video evidence your trailer was clean and any squatters or boxes of contraband stashed there by any passing smugglers (what, ME paranoid?), you may end up having to cut your pizzas in half because you SPACED OUT your full size pan! But then again, I only have a toaster oven now so it likely would have ended up a pistol target. May The Montana Inn or next renter enjoy with my blessings. Relevant to this TMI, The Montana Inn looked clean, bright and cheerful. An inviting place to stay if in Forsyth by my quick visit so all good.
