The self service pick up was a gigantic pain. It took over 30 minutes for me to get verified before I could pick up my vehicle. My phone didn't recognize that I was at the location, and told me to scan a barcode, that I never did find. The moving blankets I ordered were not in the truck when I picked it up and I had to make a separate trip to get them. I would never use the self service pick up again.


The staff was very friendly and helpful; the only concern I have is that employees were not wearing masks, which I believe should be a U-HAUL company policy to protect both their employees and customers during this current time of the pandemic.

I dropped off after hours so I didn't interact w/ anyone. Was charged for after hours drop off, however, I dropped trailer off a day early.

Please place a spare tire on all trailers. You could lock it with a type of combination lock and if needed renter could contact uhaul for combination for tire. Wait times for repair when traveling in sparsely populated regions waste travelers time.

Please let the customers know about mileage charges. I wasn’t told about it and the .59 cents per mile came as an unpleasant surprise. That more than doubled the original assumes price. Also I wasn’t asked about additional insurance and that was waived at leadt at the end.

I sent my daughter furniture in a Uhaul container and it was a total mess. She had to pick up the truck at a different location from where her container was and then drove to the location where her container was and waited 3 hours. She was told that a Uhaul employee was supposed to accompany her to the container and hitch it up for her. The location was in a dirt lot considerably far from the location where she had to pick up the truck. We will never use Uhaul for their container service again

All the lights were on on the dash. They didn’t warn me before I got the key and then when I asked they said they didn’t have the right key so the computer system was not working correctly. It felt unsafe. I was only moving a few miles in town but with all the lights on I would not have known if there was something else wrong with the truck. One of the lights on was the tire light. I asked they check the tire pressure. One gentleman with longer hair was very helpful, the other two seemed to have no idea how to do that with one of them seeming very hung over or something. It again did not make me feel like the trucks were properly maintained. Also only one person there was wearing a mask/face covering. In the main office, they set it up so that the customers were 6 feet away but only one of four people helping me outside was wearing a mask which also made me feel unsafe.

I highly recommend Uhaul. I was supposed to make a move to another state about 700 miles away. I ended up making things work in my current state and not only did I not get charged a fee for changing the drop off location but I also got all my money back. An $830 (including insurance and everything) it turned out to be a $50 move. Thanks U-Haul.

It took a long time to check-in as one employee did nothing while the other had to process all the customers. I HATED the bait and switch of requiring my own insurance card when I wasn't told to bring it! COME ON! What a rip off! Add to this the many odd fess and we will never rent from you again!

When I made the reservation I was told I get an email confirmation. I never received an email confirmation so I had to visit the location two days before I was running the truck. I could not get the size truck I requested because someone never completed my reservation. This caused me to make several additional trips because I cannot obtain the larger truck.
