Almost. I was following the process but when I hit the claim the keys from the lock box and take photos of the vehicle, that's when I found out I had been given the wrong keys in the lock box and the keys were for another vehicle. It was 6:45/7am in the morning so nobody was available to pick up the phone to assist. Because I was sorting out the correct key situation, I lost my place on the app and couldn't return to the upload photo part. Never uploadedthe photos. Cupholders were dirty. Windows were dirty. Wish there was a USB port to charge phone.
Jayson BI was so frustrated when I opened the cargo and saw that there was no furniture pad ready. Asked the guy at Citgo and was told “tell the customer service “. Super irresponsible and annoyed.
Soowon YMy experience with U-Haul was absolutely terrible. I originally reserved a location close to my home. Then, the day before my move, U-Haul changed my pickup location because the branch supposedly did not have the dolly and one dozen moving blankets I had added as extra equipment. That was already frustrating enough, but the real problem was this: when I arrived at the new location, they still did not have the dolly or the blankets. If you are moving, those items are not optional. They are essential. I had already completed all of my moving preparations and was ready to stay on schedule, only to be told at pickup that the equipment was unavailable. That is unacceptable. If you move a customer to another location for equipment availability, then that equipment should actually be there. To make things worse, the mobile check-in system failed, and I lost an entire hour because of the error. On moving day, losing an hour is not a small inconvenience. It throws off the whole day and adds unnecessary stress to an already stressful situation. So in one experience, U-Haul failed to: 1. honor the original pickup location, 2. provide the extra equipment that caused the location change in the first place, 3. and deliver a working mobile check-in process. This was not just inconvenient. It was a complete service failure. U-Haul made an already stressful moving day much worse, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
