I do wish the person who gave me the truck would have notated in the system the tank was half full instead of writing it on the contract. There were some issues when returning because of that.

Had initially set for Inlet Bait & Tackle as my drop off. After they were rude and refused to accept the trailer I called and was informed of this location. 100x better service and politeness.
Final bill was more than quoted and I did not use additional miles from quote. Insurance was more than quoted etc.
Charlie did not walk the truck for inspection and I paid a dolly that I never received. I asked if I could get my $10 back, he said he didn't know how too. That I had to ask the receiving location.

We attempted to drop off the trailer at 3 locations prior to this one including the one I was originally told to return it to. They couldn't take it because the personnel to accept it was out with a hernia, the next place couldn't take it because they were full, the same with the next place. We finally found this 4th location. You can imagine how stressful it was be to not be able to find a location that would accept the trailer. This should have all been disclosed when I reserved the trailer. Completely unacceptable return service. My 63 year old father had to unlatch the trailer himself and leave it without assistance from anyone in your company. In addition to the run around, Ft. Pierce is not Vero Beach, the town I specified when I rented the trailer.
I would definitely recommend U-Haul rentals from this location. The two employees I spoke with for the reservation and then the rental were both VERY, VERY NICE. In addition they were very helpful, polite and patient. The whole rental/return process was very easy!
The service was excellent but also the general pick-up locatiom had many interest, atiques, beach parks, seaside restaurants hotels etc for overnight travel stops
Person at counter said his wife did this on computer. She was not there. This was his first time doing a rental to a customer he told me. Had to keep backing out of uhaul program while entering my information. Got outside after he got me paperwork and keys. Drove down road.. rental had no wiper fluid. Smelled of smoke. Bought can of airwick! Service lights on for traction control and abs. I was not happy, but needed to get going for the drive ahead. I told place i returned it to about the issues.

I reserve my truck a week before and when I came to pick up my truck they said they changed my pickup location to a location down the street. Upon getting to the second location the person able to get into the Uhaul system was not there. I had to wait 20 minutes before she could get this. After she got there and looked in the system she said I did not have a reservation here. I then said yes I do because I came from another location. After another 20 minutes she found my reservation. When she did find it she only had the truck but not the carport. So I had to pickup my truck and drive to the first location to pick up my carport. Note: The second location noted the truck mileage was wrong in the system and noted on my paperwork.
Excellent location and personnel. Went out of their way to help correct an error made by pick up location and spoke with area field manager to resolve the matter! Definitely would use U-Haul again!
Location opened 30 minutes late. I had a reservation for their opening time. Me and my family waited outside for 35 minutes. I was offered no apology or compensation for the loss of time on a very busy move day. Also, I was never contacted by them to set up a pickup time so I had to call the 1800 number for Uhaul to find out what random time had been set and request it changed because it was far to late for me. I would have rather driven further to have my truck on time and ready and recieve better service. I would never recommend this location to a friend, rather I would urge them to request a different pick up location. I have used several other locations in Fort Pierce all with far superior service than this one.
I received an email saying the truck would be ready, but it was not. The person who would be able to give us the keys to truck was not able to come to the store. After fighting for an hour and numerous calls to uhaul we finally got the truck. Worst experience ever. I would never suggest going to this place. I would suggest training more people to be able to set up uhaul, and if that is not possible find another location. Also furniture blankets should not be stored thrown on the floor in piles on the floor outside of bags and thrown onto the sidewalk to count. The amount of stuff it could pick up that could scratch my furniture is terrible.
It took an hour working with the person at the site to get my truck. While I received a discount for returning the truck to an alternate location, the person at the site couldn't tell me where to return the truck. Further, the national hotline couldn't either. Extremely frustrating. Finally, the regional manager was able to tell me, and made sure I was charged the promised amount. Not a great experience.
The people at Castle Antiques were very helpful, unlike the customer service representatives at U-Haul when I called on the phone with a problem. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM U-HAUL. Next time I'll go to Budget.
U-haul totally messed up my order and my schedule. Calling customer service with U-Haul was a terrible experience and they were no help. Fortunately the people at Castle Antiques were friendly and helpful.
why additional charges for dropping off??
Someone needs to make sure the trucks are fumigated before loaning them out. I was disgusted by the sight of roaches running rampantly in the trailer when I opened the back door to load my sofa into it. I am praying that I do not bring any roaches into my home. If so, U-Haul will get a bill from me! Everybody can not tolerate pests!!! I don't think I will use U-haul again unless I absolutely have to. I will make sure I spray the entire truck with pesticide before using it again!
I had to wait over an hour for the owner to show up. Even though it is located in a gas station, they were out of gas and the truck only had a quarter tank. The person there just shrugged as if he either couldn't understand me or didn't care. When the owner finally showed up, while he was cordial I would not rent from there again. I was paying a lot of money to my movers who were just sitting around... I was majorly angry and he offered no incentive for my time wasted. How to improve? A dedicated person who adheres to the posted times, will drive to another gas station to fill up the trucks and at least pretend to care about the company. Jeez.
the rental place did not go over the equipment before i took it. I found that the truck had a broken windshield and i had to bring it to the attention of the rental place. I still used the truck
