If there was a rating below 'poor,' I would have chosen it. Here are just a few things you can do to improve: 1) fumigate the vehicle - the smell nauseated me and it was absolutely filthy inside with beverage stains, food debris, dirty handles, sticky steering wheel and disgusting seats. 2) The suspension was clearly neglected, barely managing my half-filled load, making for a treacherous, anxiety filled drive. 3) The motor struggled mightily going uphill. 4) Also, I'm reasonably sure the gas guage was rigged. It was given to me half full and I ended up putting $17 into it for only ~14 miles of use. 5) When a vehicle has around 170,000 miles like this unit did, a complete overhaul should have been done LONG ago, but obviously was not. It should have been junked and replaced. Overall, it was the worst experience I ever had with any box truck I ever rented. I've had experience driving double semi's that were a piece of cake to operate compared to this very poorly maintained vehicle. IF AN INEXPERIENCED DRIVER RENTED THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE, IT COULD WELL HAVE TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE FOR THEM AND U-HAUL.

jean sEverything was great until I returned the truck. I was moving from Hales Corners to Milwaukee. I was told during pick up that I could drop the truck off at any location, since I wasn't sure of uhaul locations in the city. After I dropped the truck off, I was charged $296. for returning the truck to the wrong location.
