The staff at this location are overall friendly, but that is the best thing I can say about this location. The parking lot is small and hosts a lot of businesses that also service cars and such. The location itself has too many enterprises (stereo/alarm/cellular/jewelry/purses/etc) and not enough staff to handle it all. The location in town is a little sketchy. The truck I drove seemed to have trouble going from first to second gear and they had damage to it that wasn't marked. Also, the customer service line (1-800 number) is not very helpful and their online support for the store refused to help the girl at the counter apply my certificate i was given to make up for the terrible customer service i received over the phone. Overall, I will loudly say I will not use U-Haul again unless I have no other options.

put some airbags on the trucks, add a coffee machine in the back, let us use the dolley for FREE, paint the truck a diff color, surround system with colored lights in the back you know whats up... oh just wanna tell everyone to make sure you put the right dolley back lol. Our original drop off location was on ventura st but they said they were to full and sent us to Kingscanyon....we were greeted by a homeless man who claimed he worked there but the location was closed but the guy from ventura told us to leave it outside even if they were closed..the homeless man was going to take the electrical cord...but i took it from him and put it in a key box the location had if front of there box was just sketchy.... I thought reservations were made for a reason and wished uhaul would stand by there promise

Had a horrible experience!!!! Was there 15 min before my time was actually scheduled. As I awaited, I heard a back door open to a U-Haul, So I walked around to see, and a man was coming out of the back of U-Haul from sleeping, had blankets , chairs , buckets , food ! So then I thought to myself maybe he broke in.. so it’s after 8:30 no one still arrived, I called U-Haul they said the people are running late.. so I waited and waited till bout 9 am someone finally shows up.. the guy that was sleeping in U-Haul went n helped the person open up store . So then. I got the U-Haul .. frustrated already because the U-Haul smelled inside, I had people waiting to help me move and things were not on time.. it was HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I filed a complaint to cooperate, still no response!

I don't think that this location was fair because they over charge me for gas that shouldn't been charge the truck had less than a 1\2 tank and i had put gas back in the truck witch i had almost 1\2 tank so they went out to the truck and took a pic of the gas gauge but it was almost a 1\2 tank and they stilled charge me20.dollars more for gas and extra taxes I don't think that was wright and I will not go back to that place of business again and i would not send any customers to there place of business anymore business like that make your company look bad I'm upset about this situation thank you.

I did not feel comfortable at this location. The lady that helped me check the haul back in was very nice and helpful. The area where the drop off location was located was not desirable. I did not feel comfortable and it was hard to decide where to park the vehicle since. There were many people hanging out in the parking lot and the spot where i had to park the haul was very tight and difficult to maneuver.

Once again the excuse was that my rental was double booked and therefore did not have that size truck for me but wanted to give me another. Neither does the representative EVER want to take any blame but rTher blames the representative who booked reservation. Will consider home depot next time and encourage anyone else I kjownto do the same. You people charge too nuch money for the quality of service you provide.



Heres my experience: I had called and confirmed my reservation the day prior and had asked what time they opened, i was told 7a. Our reservation was for 8:30a. When we arrived there was 3 other people there waiting and they stated that they never open on time. I tried going on the app to see how the self pickup worked since i had reserved the truck with this option, but when i went to the app to select it, there was a message that stated that no truck had been assigned to my reservation so i was unable to do the self check pickup. So while waiting, i proceeded to call uhauls 1800 number to figure out what to do because our rental was suppose to be from 8:30a to 8:30p and it was almost 9a and still nothing! The first gal i spoke to on uhauls 1800 was polite and she said that the location i had picked was suppose to be open at 830a. And that she would try to connect me to a secondary person who could better assist me and she mentioned something about trying to get a hold of the owners of the location on their cell. Ok so she transferred me to this second gal, and let me tell you... she lacks customer service skills. I explained the situation to her and she said i was wrong, that the location didnt open til 9am (keep in mind by this time, from all the waiting, it was already after 9a and the location was still closed) then she proceeded to tell me that i had chosen the self pickup option when i did the online reservation, which i did choose at the time. But that i hadnt completed the "contract portion", and that i didnt need to do a regular pickup because i had chosen that option. I tried to explain to her again what i already went thru and told her i tried the self pickup (that didnt work) and the location was still closed, even after all the hrs i was told they should of been open by. So after getting no where with the second uhaul rep and dealing with her snobby attitude, she made me feel like i was bothering her and that i was somehow in the wrong, i decided to just end the call and told her we would continue to wait out. So then i noticed something while i was on the phone with uhaul, there had been a woman who was in her vehicle putting on makeup and at about 915a she stepped out and unlocked the door to the uhaul location. Keep in mind this location happens to be in a terrible part of town, so after she unlocks the doors she still doesnt want to let people in because she was waiting for the owner to show up.. (more waiting), so soon after the owner shows up and oddly we notice there was this gentlemen who looked like a homeless person, very scruffy dirty looked unbathed, who was apparently working for them. He was handling the check in and the check outs of the uhaul trucks (not the payment or contract portion tho). The gal that rung us up was actually polite, thats about it. But the gentlemen.....look Dont get me wrong, im all for willing to give people opportunities to better themselves but this gentlemen was so filthy and bummis

I had a reservation 4 weeks ahead of my pickup date for a 26 foot truck only to be told that one was not available. I had procured moving services and wasted an hour of time waiting for a truck to be located. When one was found a 15 foot truck was located 25 minutes out of my way and 29 miles further. I had to move in 2 trips resulting in 2 additional hours being added to my moving services total. On top of that a refrigerator dolly wasn’t available either even though I had reserved one in my original reservation and I paid and additional $150 for moving my safe. This was an extremely poor effort on Uhauls part. Even though my $50 was reimbursed this ended up costing me $360 unnecessarily.

Better wait time and more helpful staff. The person/woman who helped us kept getting interupted by other staff and customers which she glady helped them instead of finishing helping us. The check in took forever like 45 minutes. 15 of which was waiting in line which we understand however when it was actually our turn, it still took 30 whole minutes while she answered the phone, talked to other staff and customers and she even took time to go say hi for 1 minute to her boyfriend while we were walking with her to check on the truck. Very unprofessional experience and the store itself was way too busy. Thought U haul would be a faster and better experience than that. When we came for the drop off, the situation was the same. Customers and staff interrupting our turn.
