Showed up they didn’t have the trailer I had reserved in advance. Then I got told that I had to pay for the larger one when they had sent out the trailer I had reserved. After having to argue with the guy saying that why should I have to be held responsible for someone else mistake financially. Did the online check in took over an hour to get my trailer which made me late for what I had to use the trailer for so I had wasted 57 on the trailer plus the 80 in fuel for my truck because the pick up took so long. Probably won’t see any of that money back so pretty bummed that I wasted the money and all the time

customer service needs to improve (Sam is a very rude person), bums live in the back of their trucks, ppl steel fuel from trucks at their location and they don't record it to the new contract, the vehicles mirror was broke and they didn't record it before I left getting me a ticket.

The clerk was unfriendly and helped everyone that came in after me. When I returned the truck the clerk tried to tell me the fuel was full and tried to charge me. When I got into the truck the fuel was just above the "E" and that where I returned the rental. The rental process took longer than should have and if you rent from this location watch out - they will try to charge you for fuel when they dont give the rental to you with a full tank.

The counter clerk did not know how to process the rental so she was on her phone Using FaceTime to figure out what to do. We did not feel comfortable with the face that she was sharing my credit card and drivers license over face time - while speaking another language - and telling us she had to change all of our information on the computer and re input. We called customer service and cancelled. Then we went to another location to see what we could do but they didn’t have the truck we needed. The Fresno Blackstone location was very helpful assisting us in setting up the online app, but ultimately we had to go back to the original location to get what we needed. When we got there - the counter clerk still didn’t know what to do and ended up putting us on the phone with someone. All in all we got the truck but put us at about a 3 hour delay. We will now have to get another truck this week to finish our out of town move which is costing us much more than we budgeted for, financially and time wise.

I love using U-Haul, but this location gave me a really bad experience. The attendant said it was her first week and had no one there to help her. She was on a video call with someone who she said was the owner while she was trying to setup the truck rental. This made me feel uncomfortable because I needed to show my driver license. The attendant told me several times that it was taking longer than usual because the system was down. While I was supposedly waiting for the U-Haul system to get back online, someone from U-Haul called me to verify that I was picking up the truck. I asked if any of the systems were down to the person calling, and they said that they hadn’t heard of any of their systems being down. They helped me complete the transaction over the phone, and then the attendant at the store gave me the keys. Btw, it took an hour to pick up the truck. If U-Haul hadn’t called me, I probably would have left to rent somewhere else. The customer that was there before me was already upset by the time I got there and eventually, he got tired of waiting and asked to cancel his rental before angrily leaving.

The only "cohtract" was a slip of paper that looked like a cash register receipt, with 4-point unreadabie type. The location was a quick-stop / liquor store with dirty UHaul trucks on the side of their building. It was creepy.

I reserved truck for 8 am and nobody was there. Had to leave and come back at 9. They couldn’t find the keys for the truck so we had to take a bigger truck. Pretty sure they had something to do with my credit card being hacked. They ran a charge through at 1:22 am as U-Haul then another charge went through at same time for $1006.00, but my bank declined that going through. Will never use this place again! Horrible!
