The cab of the truck I rented was dusty and smelled like smoke. It would have been nice to have a cleaner interior. But, it ran well and got pretty good gas mileage. Overall, everything went fine. The check-in was very easy. I didn't even have to go inside, I was met at the truck, everything was handled right there, no line, no fuss.

U-Haul needs to change their checkin policy requiring customers to have to go inside twice; once to check in and again after the equipment has been selected. Why make customers wait twice? Plus, when you go back in the second time newly arriving customers think the earlier customer is cutting in line or getting preferential treatment, not good for customer relations. It's awkward for the customers too.

sales people are NOT friendly customer service orientated. especially the gal that checked me in.when i took back van, the doors were open,lights on, another customer was in there, and right away the guys says loudly : we're closed, we're closed!! kinda rude.....

Only suggestion for me is displays near cashiers need to be not so much moved butower in height ,would be nice to be able to see which cashier is ready and cashier to see who's next for assistance, check in /out aisle are too narrow

Make sure your Blackstone facility is adequately staffed. Both pick up and return, required an hour each waiting time. Yard is somewhat congested, Customer parking difficult to say the lease, and I drive a big rig. On a positive note they did have the equipment I required and it was readily available.

The employees are annoyed by any customer they have to serve. It seems as if all the employees here smoke, they smoke openly and freely, while helping customers and moving vehicles, very inappropriate.
