They over booked us so we had to get a smaller truck which made us have to make multiple trips. I booked it on line to make it faster and we were there for almost an hour because there were so many people in line and only 1 person at the desk while all the other employees were just walking around. Manager was rude, and incompetent. Location was understaffed with a long line. From what I understand is common for this location. Waiting room was hot, but most importantly the manager was rude, incompetent and unwilling to help.

Get rid of the iPhone app. It does not work. Wasted 30 minutes. Tell your employees to wait on customers in line at the counter before helping potential customers that call by phone.

Had an appointment to pick up a 10' truck at 8:30. Arrived on time and it took 45 minutes to get my truck and leave. The gentleman who worked with me complained about all of the U-Haul employees being paid minimum wage and that customers and U-Haul expected miracles from them. I'm going to write Yelp & Google reviews and encourage others to never use this location. To the U-Haul executive team, if this is the best you have, then this is a disgrace to mankind. Close up the shop and prevent the frustrations & aggravation from happening to other good paying customers. This is a really sad and most unfortunate event to have been part of considering that our businesses flourish in a free enterprise system. You can consider this my last experience with U-Haul. Your new information reporting requirements onsite by salesman at counter are intrussive and seem to be geared more to a company focused on "data mining" than customer service or care. Filling out an online reservation and before arrival check in is a total waste of time as all the information already given online is then rehashed and re-verified and asked to be be proven again at the counter including more identification checks and another several "up selling" moments, concerning all the goods and services you' re pushing. This used to be a fairly easy process. now its time consuming and irritating. I have rented from this location quite a few times. and from uhaul in general, almost exclusively; not any more. I intend on developing rental arrangements with another firm when we need equipment going forward.

Tried using the feature to pick up my truck using my mobile device. It felt like it ended up being more work. The first truck was not where the mobile app said it would be so it assigned me a different truck. That truck had no gas. I suspect the gas gauge is broken because when I proceeded to put 10 gallons of gas in the tank, it barely made it to the red empty line. It still took about 20-25 minutes to get my truck. Maybe it would have been easier to just walk in and deal with the staff from the beginning. I had to keep going in and out and show them I was having trouble with the app. They were able to assist me, but I think it was equally as frustrating for them.

This is one of the worse service in my life. I went to pick the truck, somebody there said "they already cancel your rental and move it somewhere else." I said "what?" I said somebody suppose to contact me to reschedule or cancel. He said he does not know but somebody else already picked the car. I was there on time. I went to the other place on Blackston and picked up the car, extra 10 miles and gas and almost an hour and half of the waste of time. Finally, you charged me the extra 6 miles because of your mistake, what a service.

Excellent services. i needed to move my car from fresno to Ventura . Called in at 8 and i was on the road an hour later. Courteous sales staff and the owner went through the procedures very professionally. OK , it was busy and some people in the queue were a little impatient. but that is a result of it being a successful branch. My first experience with U Haul and it was a great one. Thank you Fresno team ...great job
