This was a terrible location with only two people working on a Friday afternoon. To pick up a trailer took 1 1/2 hours and then the trailer running lights didn't work and we had to call someone to fix it.This location needs management help. The service that came up fix the lights couldn't find the issue, wanted to replace the wiring in my truck, after I said no, I pulled the plug, cleaned the connect and poof....all better..Balance of trip was ok.

We have rented and dropped off equipment here and they have always been helpful and equipment hasn't broken down unlike a competitor we used once and the tires went flat on the road. Very happy with Uhaul.

This U-Haul location is the worst of all of the locations I have utilized over the years. Its personnel are rude, dismissive, confrontational and untrained. The entire operation is chaotic and incoherent. I have never seen a business that relies on good customer service so badly run. It is my intention to file a report to the local BBB as well as letters to the local newspaper that details the awful experience I had this past Saturday, the 31st. I have had conversations with two additional customers that had the same experience (almost simultaneously) and we have agreed that we will launch an internet initiative against this particular U-Haul operation. I even told the clerk that was on duty at the time of my altercation of my plan to do exactly this. Needless to say, I will never ever do business at this location again. The upper management at the national level of U-Haul should focus its attention to this particular business location. Something very bad is likely to happen. In addition to verbal confrontations by U-Haul staff (that prompts responses from customers) there is a likelihood that something physical and violent could result. Many people nowadays turn to their guns as a first resort and Lord knows that I do not wish to be anywhere near a business that flirts with this kind of possibility. You would be well-advised to take a long look at this particular location...It really is bad.

When I walked in and walked over to the counter, the receptionist was at the desk on her phone and didn't bother to look up or acknowledge that I was even standing in front waiting to be helped. When she did look up an seen me she continued to finish whatever she was doing on her phone before finally asking how she can help me. I work as a front desk receptionist and it is never ok to keep your customer waiting while all of your attention is on your phone.

It would have been a good thing to explain up to 100mile rate and then how the rate changes after 100 miles before renting the vehicle. Having staff well trained and with a more customer-service orientation would have also help and also having enough staff working registers. We waited a half hour because there was only one person on the register.everything seemed very disorganized. I doubt I will be using this location again

My husband and I went in 2 days before we needed the 5x8 trailer, the clerk did not make the reservation properly, so when we went to pick it up, there was no reservation for us. Then, there were no 5x8 trailers available on the day we needed it, so we had to rent a bigger than what we needed. This cost us more than we had expected and even with a small discount (the clerk assisting us could only do so much due to the manager not being there) was still a lot. The trailer itself was difficult to navigate due to its size, and not at all what we had prepared for. We were very unhappy with our service.

Quick and Convenient rental of Motorcycle Trailer, low rate and quality equipment. Got our Harley Moved to when it needed to go... Thanks to the staff and "Sarge" at the center for a job well done.... more U-Hauls need to be this clean, quick and friendly...

Although I would have liked to have given a rating of Above average or Ecellent I hesitated due to when upon arrival to rent a U Hual (for the 1st time) your customer service was very poor (on upon arrival ONLY) I happen to think EXCELLENT customer service is KEY in ANY place of business even if you are having a bad day. When first arrived I asked the employee (that did not have a customer she was waiting on) however was on the phone with a personal call having me wait until she was done with her call so I can ask her a question. At this point I assumed the employee would have said "how may I help you" no. I then asked her " hi are you the only one working here" she stated as she was standing up to grab her things and walk away "no there are two more people here that will help you". As I looked over and noticed a lady that was not waiting on anyone and let her know I had a reservation she as assisted me in getting everything all situated to rent the uhaul however was complaining about how she had just stocked the area with highlighters and that they were all gone. I am a customer I don't need to hear anyone on personal calls or complaining. As she gave me the keys and proceeded outside to retrieve the uhaul there were two employees that we're going to inspect the uhaul. These two employees, and the employee that greeted me when I returned to turn in the uhaul were the reason why I REALLY wanted to give a rating as Excellent, however I just couldn't due to the two employees that I encountered when I first arrived. I hope you use this to improve your customer service from poor to EXCELLENT when your customers first walk through your doors.

Dropped off the truck at this location. The call center called to confirm my drop off location. The rental place had so many issues with the computer system that they could not arrange this. I asked for the drop off location in Clovis. When I spoke to the call center I asked them to text me the Clovis address. They sent me to the further location away from where I was moving to in Fresno. This ticked me off because FRESNO does not sound like or is spelled like CLOVIS! Wish that person would have read the city before forwarding on the information. Due to the error I went over mileage. It wasn't by much but still angered me.

Man outside was very nice. There was a glitch on the phones they were using to check us in and out. So i had to go inside. The man at the desk was NOT friendly at all. It smelled like drugs in there and he looked like he was on something he said well i don't know what your gonna do but we close in 10minutes. So hes thinking i did something wrong and clearly he did not pay any mind that the check in phones are not working. Until three people came in after me saying the same thing. Clean up their acts!

There was only one person working the desk whle there was a line of about 6 customers waiting. And that person was extremely slow, almost deliberately slow. People want to get the vehicle get out and start moving. I waited about 20-25 minutes before I was helped at the desk. Then I needed a dolley which they would'nt rent to m e because they were not checked in yet. Eventhough the person with the dollies was two people behind me. My option was to wait another 20 minutes so they could check them in. When I returned, I did as instructed, waited in the vehicle for " easy" check out. Only problem was that there was again only one person available doing everything. I will go to another rental company next time.

This place charged for unloading and loading of auto transport. This charge was not mentioned to the customer before renting, and therefore, is seen as a hidden charge.

Some what disorganized at first but when trailer was located, installed and tested well. Maybe include more information on their website for customers. Overall, very friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with lights connecting truck with trailer and they fixed it. When finished, check out fast and done well.
