Arrived on time to pick up the truck. Took an hour (standing in 105 degree weather, and 2 phone calls to customer service) to get the correct lock and correct code to access the keys. Was told we would receive a $50 refund for the inconvenience. Still haven’t received the refund, and we’re getting the run around that customer service can’t make that call for a refund, it has to be the rental location. Still going back and forth days after to get the $50 promised to me. Had the truck for one day, loaded it up, and it didn’t start! Had to wait over an hour for someone to come out and replace the battery: another inconvenience! These issues put me back HOURS of my moving time, and I was charged for the time. At this point I should receive a FULL REFUND for my time that was wasted dealing with these problems! Definitely won’t rent from U-Haul ever again!
