Very slow checkout process. The U-Haul app on my phone wouldn't connect (said it was having trouble - try later), the person helping me was on the phone with who I assume was his boss trying to get me checked out. It took him quite a while, also some confusion on how many furniture pads I had requested/reserved. The cargo bay of truck had some trash and a piece of clothing in it (not a lot, but it wasn't cleaned out). Getting to the truck, had to walk through some mud, which I then tracked in truck cab, which I later had to clean out.

Remove this location as a U-Haul dealer. They were highly unprofessional and made my wife very uncomfortable as they locked the doors when she came in, demanded to know how much money was on her credit card, told her they were going to keep her license until she returned the equipment. Wanted a donation to leave her vehicle there while she used the truck. This location was falsely advertised as the name would make one think it was a gym or fitness center when it was someone’s house where they had a black history museum. If I had known it was a private residence acting as a dealer I would never have out my wife in that situation. We may be looking elsewhere for our rental needs after this experience after years of using U-Haul as our go to moving solution
JOEY AWhen I received the truck, the gas gauge was at 1/8 of the tank and the dealer told me to return it with same gas level, so I did. The dealer charged me $ 30 fuel service and for 3 gallons of gas. I am asking for credit for those charges.
Elio PJR was great. He gave us excellent customer service.
Erick MIt was extremely quick and easy to pick up the trailer. JR was already outside when I pulled in and immediately started helping. JR was very personable and friendly. I will definitely use this U-Haul location again.
