I wasn’t allowed to view any processed statements or anything before I signed my signature and was just told to sign and it put me in a deficit because I didn’t or wasn’t able to record the gas that was currently in a vehicle and or deny the insurance which I was charged for both

Jayantibhail PThe experience was terrible from being stuck outside in the heat, no signs to tell you to go into a building that looks like an old storage container. Being created by a man with one shoe, the manager was available by phone but talked over me the entire time. Nothing was clear. Nothing was professional. I would drive thirty minutes in any direction to find a truck from another location. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with UHaul.
Collette HArrived at 4:00 for my pick up and couldn’t reach anyone until 4:15. I rented a 10’ truck and with the disorganization of the facility, the truck I rented wasn’t there and I was given a larger truck. The gas tank was on less than a quarter of a tank showing 70 miles to empty. I asked if I needed to fill it up before returning, and was told, “Nah, don’t worry about it!” I didn’t sign a contact or see anything in writing at the time, only to have the fine print emailed to me, which I only saw after the move. Received a receipt the next day showing my drop off time an hour after when I actually returned it and a $30 fuel service fee (charged for a return under 1/4 a tank…how it was given to me) and a charge for $51 for 10 gallons of gas. I returned the truck with 43 miles to empty when I was given 70 miles to empty. How is that $51 of gas I used? Completely unethical and unprofessional.
Tracy KSpring on the trailer looks to have been broken before I rented. I can’t confirm. The roadside service group was helpful and courteous.
