Staff were not precessional at all. Took to long for the equipment. I reserved it on line to save time. It took over an hour. Will rent from haul again but not from this location.

Very nasty staff. I returned the equipment in the night and went personally to ensure it was taken care of. Alady at the desk was very rude trying to insinuate that I broke the ramp which accidentally dislodged when we were moving. She even pinted it out to me that althogh I had insurance , it will not be covered end I have to pay because there is a clause saying "not covered when used for criminal or wilfull damage" There was another gentleman who was just hovering around telling me his eleven years of service with uhaul and how the vehicle was dirty. Very argumentative and authoritative to a level of intimidation. I swept the vehicle clean before returning it. Noone called back to let me know anything about the return. This is by far my worst experience with uhaul. I have moved 4 times with uhaul.

My comments pertain to the online experience. When I book a truck for the King Farm store, I expect to show up at the King Farm store and get the truck. Apparently, someone at Uhaul changed my reservation to a different store? That's fine, but if you're going to do that you need to get positive confirmation that I have received that information. Simply sending me an e-mail is not good enough. We showed up at the King Farm store where we booked the truck and the employee there said they didn't have a truck for us. After searching back through my e-mails I found one that told us that our pickup location had been changed. Again that's fine, but you really need to get me on the phone or have an automated way that I can respond to the e-mail with a simple "yes". I was very annoyed when we drove all the way to the place that we had selected to pick up the truck to find that it was not there. I remember in the past when I booked a Uhaul truck, if there was not one at the store someone would deliver it there prior to the pickup date. I guess Uhaul doesn't do that anymore.

I wasn't sure how to rate our pick-up location as the place we were actually able to pick up a truck (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Gaithersburg) was spectacular! They were great, fast and very friendly. Our issue lies with the two other locations we had to go to first to seek the truck we had reserved: A1 Mailbox Store and Montgomery Village BP station...particularly the BP station. We rented an appliance dolly and hand truck on Friday last week. They were both returned that Sunday. We then received a phone call on Thursday evening. Almost a week after returning them. An employee stated that they never received the appliance dolly. After telling this employee that that was not possible. We also told him when we dropped them off and gave a description of the employee to whom we handed them to. A few hours later I received a call saying that everything was squared away. Here's our problem. There was no receipt given to show we had returned the equipment. If something like that was in place then it was poorly used by your staff at this location. Lastly, calling a customer and flat out accusing them of not returning equipment without doing thorough research is unprofessional and down right rude. I explained to the staff member over the phone that maybe you need to check your surveillance which I'm sure you have because you'll see a big white suv pull up. A bald white male step out and unload two large and very heavy dollys. I will NOT use this location again. I will NOT recommend this location again and now will strongly rethink using Uhaul for future moves.

One of the staff members there, Pham I think was her name, was not helpful at all. Refused to help me in a moment of need and made my moving experience worst than it was already. I spent almost $500 on this location plus other 4-5 time before and she refused to help me. I will not come back. I will probably not use your services again, there are other companies out there with better customer service.



Truck was not clean in the back!

They asked me to leave my registration with them also is they gave me a trailer with a light out and told me it's fine I had to pay twice come back in 2 days it was a big hassle



Have a stock of smaller fuses that could be used inside the vehicle or given/sold to a driver who needed to replace a fuse in their vehicle because the trailer lights couldn't work.

We had a traumatic experienced when suddenly huge smoke comes out from the engine at the front. We feel nervous. They should check it first before entrusting it to the customer.
