The U HAUL representive at the location was very unprofessional and seemed to not want to discuss anything about the charges for the rental. I have lived in the area since 1985 and it is close to where i reside, however I will drive the additional 15 miles needed to rental a U-Haul from a different location. Sorry for this review.
dwight sRented equipment 4 days ahead to ensure us getting what we needed, did we get it? NOPE! Wanted us to pay $20 cash, Absolutely Not! Then loading and unloading the equipment OURSELVES...RIDICULOUS! Don't use the blankets either THEY DONT WASH THEM....DISGUSTING! We will go to Budget if we move again! Absolutely Terrible! Ohh don't try to call the district manager either He Never Answers!!!
Amy SI was charged for extra mileage for no fault of my own. The location I originally selected did not have a uhaul I chose at the location even though it said online that there was. After that, the original drop off location was "full", causing me to drive another 20 minutes to a different drop off location. If a location doesn't have a specific uhaul available, or if a drop off location is "full", then it should not be an option online.
Keaton HI have used this location multiple times and have always been pleased. Unfortunately, this time when I stopped to get gas before I returned the truck, I hit the pole by the pumps and did some damage. I reported this immediately upon the return of the vehicle. They informed me that it would be the next day before they could send me a receipt after they talked to the regional manager. I understood this and had no problem as I made the mistake and respected. they had process to follow. Several days went by and I heard nothing. I called them to find out what was going on. They said there was nothing they could do, that I needed to contact the regional manager. Now, I have no problem with this and understood the situation, but it was the way they talked to me. Very disrespectful, like they did not care, and basically told me not to bother them anymore. No understanding of basic customer service. They could not even tell me who the regional manager was I was supposed to talk to, a phone number or how to get a hold of him. Basically, they told me to call the 800 number, and leave them alone. Please understand, I was professional and courtesy during this whole process. Needless to say, tracking him down was quite the ordeal, and I have concerns on that process. But that is not what relates to the question here. Again, it frustrates me, because I have been a long-time loyal customer to them.
