The ratchet straps for the tow dolly I rented were rolled and stuck in the mechanism, therefore I was unable to use the supplied ratchet strap equipment and had to resort to some personal ratchet straps to tie the vehicle down. The equipment should be more thoroughly inspected before being put back into service like this.
