I returned the cargo van on time with a full tank of gas, but the following day I received a voicemail and text from U-Haul saying I hadn't returned the vehicle. I was unable to reach anyone at U-Haul by phone, but I sent an email. I received an automated reply stating that they received my message, but they didn't state that they made a mistake regarding the return of the vehicle. It was a disconcerting glitch in an otherwise very smooth rental experience.
