There wasn't anyone at this location that I would assume could help disconnecting equipment. I am well-skilled in this, so it was a non-issue for me. However, others may not be. Only one Lady was working in the shop. U-Haul was a secondary business to this facility.
Rod TThe lady at the office was fine. My experience with the scheduler on the phone and not from the location was rude and terrible. Stephanie was awful and I will not recommend uhual for that area specifically due to her.
AUDRA MWe arrived during posted business hours and found the location closed with no signage or note indicating when staff would return. As we were preparing to leave, an employee arrived and confirmed she was opening the location. She then asked if we had parked the truck there for a return, which we confirmed. The employee responded abruptly, stating that we could not park in that area because it was used for deliveries. However, there were no signs, markings, or instructions indicating this—no “No Parking” signage or designated return guidance. She then instructed us to move the truck to an area that partially blocks access to the storage units and said she could check us out but wanted the key immediately. At that moment, she appeared rushed and was holding her lunch. Since she had instructed us to move the truck first, we explained that we would bring the key to her after relocating the vehicle so she could go inside with her lunch. While we understand that employees need breaks and that she may have stepped out briefly, the lack of posted instructions and her dismissive demeanor made the interaction unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional. Clear signage and more courteous communication would have made this a much better experience.
LISA LA key was not left for my order resulting in me using another provider further from my house. I called the number listed on the app and phone was dropped. Had to contact central with provided number to change reservation and was given the run around. I finally just had to do a second reservation for the same day at a different location.
