We arrived during posted business hours and found the location closed with no signage or note indicating when staff would return. As we were preparing to leave, an employee arrived and confirmed she was opening the location. She then asked if we had parked the truck there for a return, which we confirmed. The employee responded abruptly, stating that we could not park in that area because it was used for deliveries. However, there were no signs, markings, or instructions indicating this—no “No Parking” signage or designated return guidance. She then instructed us to move the truck to an area that partially blocks access to the storage units and said she could check us out but wanted the key immediately. At that moment, she appeared rushed and was holding her lunch. Since she had instructed us to move the truck first, we explained that we would bring the key to her after relocating the vehicle so she could go inside with her lunch. While we understand that employees need breaks and that she may have stepped out briefly, the lack of posted instructions and her dismissive demeanor made the interaction unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional. Clear signage and more courteous communication would have made this a much better experience.

I did mobile pick up, which is normally great. However, the location put keys for the wrong size truck in the lock box. I had to wait for over 30 minutes in the cold for the store to open for them to give me the correct keys. The lady never apologized and just kept saying she didn’t know what happened. I had movers coming so that delayed my process. I am very frustrated with my experience.

kenny sYou did not have the 20' truck I reserved. We were given the 26' instead. Once I was given the keys, the lady did not inspect the truck to make sure it was in good working order. Fortunately, the truck was fine (<27k miles, clean...). I still think you need to go out with the customer and note any issues before you finalize the transaction. The lady was friendly, but didn't go the extra mile that I'm used to when renting moving trucks. We had another move several months ago and went through Budget truck rental. It was a much smoother experience. That gentleman took a clipboard with him to the truck and inspected it before giving us the keys. He noted any discrepancies and explained the whole process.
