MELYSSA AA week ago I reserved a 26' truck which was on site at the time. I received an email that said the truck was reserved and that it was guaranteed that It would be available as requested. When I arrived to pick up the truck 6 days later, as scheduled, I was informed that there was no 26' truck available. I did not received any kind of advance warning that the truck was not there. No email, no text message, no phone call. I had to settle for a 20' truck. This required me to make multiple trips, increased mileage used, and a large increase in the rental fee. This has happened to me several times. I would not use U-Haul if I had any other option.
