None of my questions or concerns were answered. I never got a response from messages and voice messages that I left. Nobody ever seems to be able to talk since no body ever answers the phone when you call.

Auto check is never easy. This time, system reluctant to acknowledge I uploaded the photos. After several repeats it allowed me to move on. Also, if you take the photos to show truck is clean before leaving house and getting gas, system not happy: "Please take a more recent photo." So you do it and the message repeats anyway. 5x8 trailer was missing the connector for the lights. I had to drive to another Green valley location for the connector. since they had no connectors onsite This was the second time this happened recently, apparently sometimes customers take the connector when dropping off trailer after hours. If this happens, they should keep spare connectors onsite. It was inconvenient and dangerous without brake and signal lights to drive to another location.

Objectionable aggressive assumptive marketing of extras when booking online, resulting in initial price quote being unrealistically high and forcing consumer to keep deleting extras as they pop up. Faulty claim of d.l. # being wrong for my state. Unexplained switch of type of vehicle I tried to book for another one. I did like, and used, the fuel consumption gauge mounted on the dash. I bet it prevents accidents by prompting drivers to slow down. Why not put the gauges in pickups too? Also, on my last rental, the online return system functioned poorly and I was forced to give up and call in. During the 30-min.+ hold, in the evening, the same messages repeated continuously, which was obnoxious. So, great staff and sound equipment, but because of your IT work, I think I'll try Penske next time.

The U-Haul office is in the backroom of another business. It's shabby and very unprofessional. I'm used to U-Haul locations that are modern, clean and professional.

The service and product were- and have been in the past, good. HOWEVER....There is a requirement now to “Upload†a picture of the front and back of your driver's license. I asked if there was an alternative method for this(make a copy, just show them it was valid , etc) They said “ Noâ€. It had to be uploaded w my phone or their tablet. I was in a pinch time wise, or I would not have done it. U-HAUl!!! DUMP THIS POLICY! THAT LEVEL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BEING REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED TO SOMEWHERE THAT WILL EVENTUALLY BE HACKED IS CRAP!!! Stop it or lose business.

I was chased from one rental center to another 3 times with one telling me I wasn't even in the system even though I had a confirmation number. I didn't need the trailer until the following day but was told to come get it immediately so I for sure had it, even though I had a confirmation, and was charged for 2 days!! This is unacceptable and I WILL NEVER rent from screw haul again!!
