The location was okay. The problem was not them, it was U-Haul. I made my reservation online. I have used U-Haul several times in the past. After making my reservation the pickup location was changed. Apparently my rental history was not transferred. I was forced to give a reference name and number before I could pick up my pre paid rental. I was humiliated, then livid! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?!? I am a home owner, I retired two years ago after selling the company I founded and operated for 18 years. That one issue will prevent me from ever renting from U-Haul again. YOU changed the locations, but YOUR so dysfunctional one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. You may well be hearing from my attorney.

When I rented the truck the mileage was incorrect by 15 miles. That is almost a $24 extra charge that I had to take the time to correct. When I was finishing unloading the truck I was in the process of unloading the last of my things and the U-Haul representative kept calling my phone even after I explained what I was doing. I was trying to hurry to return the truck before I got charged for another day, but he called me repeatedly and left a message that threatened me with what was about to happen because I couldn’t speak to him right then. I was under the pressure of trying to get the truck u loaded and returned, paying 2 movers by the hour for their help, my phone ringing continuously and then to have the representative harass me on top of all that. I’d say my experience wasn’t that great from there on out. After all of that when I returned the truck within a half an hour of my rental time I was charged for a whiole day anyway.
