When I rented a van from this uhaul place the customer service was great. I've had this same guy help me in the past. With that being said though I would suggest that before you leave the lot with your rental make sure everything is fine with your vehicle. I was in such a rush to get going on the road that I didn't really look very good at the van. I got about 10 miles down the road and then realized that the windshield on the passenger side was cracked. You couldn't really see it because it was only about 4 or so inches and it started from the very side of the windshield. I tried calling the uhaul place but was on hold for about 15 minutes and needed to get going so I hung up.. However when I was given the guy my info to take it that morning he told me that it was basically a brand new van with only 3000 miles on it. So needless to say I thought forsure I'd get the blame for it. So as soon as I returned it I said something to the same guy that rented it to me. He said he didn't know about the crack. I assured him that I did not cause it. He believe me and said it was all good. But rest assure I will always do a walk around before I leave the parking lot in the future. Like they have you do at Enterprise. I've seen alot of bad reviews on customer service from uhaul but I myself have not had that issue.Teresa T.

Thru the U-Hall app, we hired 3 people to help. Received a call 1 1/4 hours after scheduled time. Said they would b another hour. Was a large move. 26ft truck, 4 hand carts, 30 pads. Your online system is terrible and the day after I returned the trailer I received emails and texts saying that I needed to return the trailer. I tried to use your online system the day before and reserved a trailer at a location that did NOT carry trailers and had to push my rental off a day. Your online system needs lots of work. I am disappointed with U-Haul, not the location. They were great.Rob B.

I was charged an additional 20 miles because when I got a text with the gas and mileage verification I was already driving. I don't not want to read a text and drive so I did not check the verification. When I explained the situation to the young man at customer service, he said that â€œwas my problem and he could do nothing about it.â€ I gave the address of where I went and told him my mileage was 20 miles less than what U-Haul's text message stated. He said â€œthat is here say of what YOU are saying.â€ I asked for the 20 miles to be removed and he said no. I find this extremely unprofessional. If I had read the text message and verified the miles I would have been using my phone when driving your vehicle. The way I was spoken to in front of a line of customers was uncalled for and unprofessional. I work for a local news media in the same town. I try very hard to support local businesses with my financial support but I find it very difficult to do so with businesses who treat the customer as if they not speaking truth. Sadly, I will not be back. I will find another rental company next week when we need another vehicle. I am very upset being charged for something I did not need to pay for.alisa A.
The fender was recently damaged on passenger side wiring held with zip tie, tires were almost bald, they replaced one others were questionable for 1300 mile trip but did make it but wore on us each and every mile, sad to rent something that you dont feel good aboutDavid J.
