Learn to get your information straight!. I was told to pick up a tow Dollie in buena vista, Co, then come to find out it's closed and my reservation was actually in Salida, Co, Now I'm told that I can pick one up in Leadville since its on the way, now come to find out Leadville u-haul is closed and I need to pick up one either in Glenwood Springs, Co or I. Denver metro area. No I'm not pleased or satisfied with my u-haul experience since I had to drive two hours out of my way just because of poor communication and poor information.

I had to stop and get window washing fluid to fill. I thought it was just frozen hut nope it was empty. So maybe that should be checked. There had been a series of snow storms so I am impressed with the level of service. They were so nice and explained all. I had no problems as the truck was easy to drive even over icy roads and I encountered a lot of lingering ice.

front desk not occupied, rang bell, waited 5 minutes, no answer, started removing tow dolly in lot, gal showed up, instructed to place dolly in adjoining property some distance away. what should have been a 5 minute process took 20 minutes

I had to drive past 2 U-Hauls to get to this location because U-Haul will not transport items and waits until the last min to let you know that you are going to have to drive 2.5 hours out of your way.

Representative was very sweet and helpful. Truck interior was dirty and cab had paint on driver's seat. The exterior body of the truck was full of "x" stickers because the truck had been so damaged. I returned the truck in much cleaner condition than I received it. At nearly 40,000 miles, the road noise and whistling through the windows made for a challenging drive.

difficult to return truck quickly, uahual customer support center did not log notes on my truck that were discussed on the phone. made return very cumbersome

The drop off location change was a move made by corporate/callcenter which made it difficult and Gabriel's attitude was not conducive to customer service satisfaction nor well taken by his tone. I was placed in a very difficult situation having an additional 30 miles added to my travel and the compensation of an additional day and 40 miles did not relieve my situation of having to bicycle 40 miles home in the dark. There were other U-Haul locations throughout the valley more convenient, but none would accept the vehicle without callcenter approval and reassignement. The move from Avon to Gypsum was a tremendous inconvenience, but the staff in general, with one exception, was helpful and courteous. The service and equipment top notch.

These trucks were as basic as it gets. Features like cruise control or a CD player or adaptor to play music would make a 2200 mile trip easier.

No one was there, so I left my keys in the dropbox. Was charged $30 for cleaning when there was nothing in the cab and was only in it for an hour driving.

Was so concerned about eyeballing the outside of the truck as not to get blamed for any damage, that I failed to notice that the inside was a mess. I was told to make sure I returned a clean truck or I'd be charged. When I got to my house, I noticed dog hair everywhere, dirt on the seats, a spilled monster drink and can behind the seat, a dog chew, a key, obviously not inspected before I received it. Also, no radio. A 4 hour silent trip. The return location told me they wouldn't charge ME for the radio! WHAT? UHAUL, please inspect your trucks before renting them.

Find another location. Vanessa was completely unprofessional. Some of the first words out of her mouth when we showed up, according to our email/text info from Uhaul, only to find that she doesn't even have the equipment we needed (26' truck), were "Well, Uhaul is a shitty company." She went on to say that if she could have brought Budget to her new location she would have, but with the new location she had to switch to Uhaul. She was rude and at first told us she could give us a 17' truck or nothing. When I mentioned that I am a local writer (and perhaps after her husband straightened her out a bit), she calmed down and helped us get the $50 reservation guarantee credit (by speaking with Lorenzo, her rep), and rented us two smaller trucks in lieu of the one we ordered. NOT a convenient solution, but it was the only one anyone could come up with (I was the one who thought of it, by the way). Vanessa assured us that Lorenzo would call us and "take care" of us, and she also gave us his number. Not only did he never call, but he never returned our calls to him. Your operation creates a situation where no one has to be responsible for you not meeting the needs of your customers. It's no one's fault, right? Since I booked online. I will NEVER use Uhaul again.
