The facility itself was fine and those who were there were friendly and would have helped if they could. However, there was only one U-Haul individual. Our reservation was for 4:30, and we arrived at 4:35. We were told the U-Haul rep had to go pick up someone from the train. We didn't get helped until after 5PM. That was a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. Once he was there to help us, he was great. However, it was a waste of 30 minutes of my time.

Had to rent for 2 days but returned in 1 1/2 days renting again on Dec 1st same timeframe. Could the 1/2 day be credited to the next rental if made on the same day?

The truck was clean However the other items I reserved were not available. Ie: furniture cart, heavy duty hand truck w/straps and furniture pads. I also did not appreciate having my pickup location changed. You charge mileage and want gas replaced as well, this is double dipping to me.

Employee was not dedicated to U-Haul work, so I had to wait (over 15 minutes). If a location accepts timed reservations, they should take their U-Haul work seriously. I will definitely seek a more professional location next time. As a bonus, when they finally did get my paperwork finished, the truck was stuck in the grass and it took 4 employees to get it out. For goodness sake, park on pavement. Sheesh.



Not the cleanest, nor most professional, but it was pretty quick and easy. My issue is with the order, no fulfillment and then me having to pick up the extra cost, NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We were charged for the cancelled equipment. The equipment was cancelled upon inspection after the paperwork because of incorrect type of equipment (no ramp). The facility reversed the charge that day. However, they charged our card three days later. Seemingly someone in the facility messed up by not adding equipment back to the inventory right away. While we have the papers showing cancel within 5 minutes of the original paperwork. The subsequent papers show that they did not re-inventory it till the evening. While the mistakes do happen, the bigger concern is that instead of acknowledging the mistake, the person is telling us to work with u-haul customer service as he doesn't understands their computer system. Now we are running pillar-to-post to get it corrected with three calls to the customer service already who ended up charging even a higher amount because of all the mess the person at the facility had created.

I picked up Uhaul at location 48111. Francis the u haul rep DID NOT do his job. He never pointed out the broken cable and the minor dings & dents on the truck. When I dropped off vehicle at location 803062 I was shocked to see the damages they described and billed $154.80 for. I consider normal wear and tear on a truck as usual. But I learned my lesson, u must document EVERY nook and cranny on the rental. This was a horrible moving experience!

I waited over an hour to pick up my rental. The person in charge of u-haul rentals was pumping gas and was waiting for the person who normally pumps gas to return from wherever he was. Then when I returned the rental, a similar problem arose as the gas attendant was out getting lunch so the guy pumping gas couldn’t take care of me, even though he was the one in charge of rentals. So again I had to wait. I’ll never rent u-haul again.

This particular Uhaul rental location is superb! The Pullens Garage team in Mercerville, NJ runs a very professional business, and they are extremely accomodating to the customer’s needs. After a minor setback, the young gentleman who handled my Uhaul truck rental went out of his way to make sure I had a truck for my scheduled move. The garage owner also assisted and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I've called to find out if they've had any vehicle for sunday, it was friday, the person told me no, so I went online, reserved a van, when on process of resending the info, that Kristina, the person online required from me, it seems like I was not fast enough and she bumped me out of the converstation and I couldn't go back. We were disappointed in that we had made a reservation for pick up at a nearby UHaul and, upon confirming a few days ahead of time, were told that there was not a reservation but only a quote. They did not have a truck available so we had to go to a more inconvenient pick up location that was Pullens Garage.

While I would recommend Pullen's Garage, I cannot recommend Uhaul the company for a truck rental. Most significantly they did not have a truck for me at the location they had called and texted me it would be at the prior evening. I was forced to drive an additional twenty miles away from the ultimate destination I was moving from. When I called today to try to get them to uphold their $50 reservation guarantee I was first forced to wait on hold for 20 minutes. Since then, after explaining the situation to the representative I was put on hold again and as I type this I am now 47 minutes into the phone call with still no resolution in sight. It almost feels like they are waiting, hoping I will hang up so that they won't have to give me the $50.
