I hate that every time I book a reservation it gets moved to a location out of the way. Then the truck had a low tire and it was obvious they never checked the truck before giving it to me.

Received call that truck would not be available at original pick up location. And that another truck was available about 30 miles away. When I asked if a representative of U Haul could bring the truck into the area to a location closer to that originally arranged, I was told curtly NO. Very poor customer service.

Penske wanted 200 dollars a truck because they are renting them to amazon...thanks for making yours available to consumer at fair price, even when you could sell to amazon/usps/ups/fedex for more money...it appreciated...will come here in the future instead of other companies

Manager at the Hanover Park location is a a**hole. He is very rude and should be fired. I tried asking a few questions and he was very rude in answering them. This was my first time renting a truck from Uhaul. I will be reporting this to management. Before he lent me the van he didn’t mention anything about refilling it after use. Luckily I was informed by a friend that we are supposed to refuel the van after use. I will be reporting this bad experience to his boss.

Easy pick up and drop off. I signed up online for a different location, I thought, and U-Haul called me the next day and gave me choice of location. This location is actually closer to me. I will rent from them again.

Matt Schwartz was very rude and unprofessional. Made the transaction less than desirable. He needs to to be taught customer service. I normally prefer this location to get my rentals from because I have never had any issues I really didn’t like his unprofessionalism If this is to happen again in the future then I will find another location to get my rentals.

Breaks were very squeaky. Drove 6 miles and was charged $4. 50 for gas.

I couldn't live the cargo van in a different location closer to my house and I had to drive back 20 miles. I payed $22 extra and also i spent my own gas car plus the time. Not fun at all.

While the truck did what I needed it to, I certainly did not expect it to have 122K miles on it. Not sure how long they keep them in service, but this one is due for retirement.

The gentleman at the pick up location was the only pleasant aspect of this experience. My pick up location was moved 15 miles farther away than I needed with a notification less than 24hours from my pickup time because they would have the equipment there. Upon arriving, they in fact did not have the equipment I needed. The gentleman at the location was very pleasant and was able to help me with this predicament but other than that this was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. It added a lot of driving and time to my already hectic moving day. Very disappointing.

Your customer hotline is terrible. I waited and was on the phone for about 90 minutes total to make an attempt to change a location for drop-off...considering the drop-off I wanted was closer to where I live. As I sat in the empty parking lot at 120 Tubeway in Carol Stream, IL, I was told that they had no room. Obviously that was a lie. And I wouldn’t had driven there to drop-off had the uhaul employee at my pick up location told me it shouldn’t be a problem to change. After waiting for about a half an hour, I finally got word that no I couldn’t leave the truck at the location I was at because there was no room. They said that as I was parked there with plenty of room to park 5 other trucks. At least no one was rude on the phone.

Improve your computer system. The website is difficult and time-consuming to use an after hours drop off. The computer system at point of sale is equally tedious. Your own sales representative had a lot of trouble operating it.

People who take calls to rent the trailers should know what they are renting!! I recently called and told them I needed to haul my Trike motorcycle. I gave them dimensions. I get the trailer home and the back gate is not the width of the trailer, therefore I could NOT get my trike on it. I had to go all the way back, return it, and hustle to get a replacement trailer the next morning as I was leaving for vacation. I am beyond mad at this misadventure!

This location was not my 1st or 2nd choice, I chose a location 5 miles from my house, this location is 25 miles from my house. The location U_Haul sent me to pick up the trailer did not have a trailer with working lights, so now I have to go to another location, waste more time and more mileage. The person at Hanover Park was rude and slow

Walked into this store mad already was originally told that bolingbrook location has my 20 foot truck that was great until I get a phone call telling me this location now has it and I have to drive an hour away to pick it up to make matters worse the auto transport I requested was not there now I have to find someone to drive my vehicle back a hour away so I walk into the store no one is inside I waited 10 minutes and nothing checked the bathroom the office outside no where to be found I call the store thinking that they might have a mobile phone and some lady picks up and tells me to be patient and theres nothing she can do about it and asked if there was anything else she could do for me... finally the guy shows up and I get the paperwork signed and i asked about the mileage limit and if I go over because I had drive an hour away from my house to get this truck if it still applied or if some leinencey would be okay he rips the contract up lets up a big huff then tells me you need to do this before the paper work is authorized huffed and puffed for a couple minutes then told me there was nothing he could do about it pissed off I signed the paper work again and got the hell out of there worst uhaul experience I have had

Took too long to get my reservation due to only one guy work. Steve did a great job keeping things rolling but there is only so much one guy can do. You should have a second guy on.
