I recently rented a U-Haul during my move from Killeen to the Houston area. When I picked up the truck, the manager at the Killeen location instructed me to return it back to that same location. Although it was inconvenient, I agreed because I needed to complete my move. On Monday, the Houston location contacted me asking about my drop-off time. I informed them that I had been told to return the truck to Killeen. They stated that was incorrect. I immediately contacted the Killeen location and spoke with the manager, who admitted it was their mistake and reassured me that I would not be charged any additional fees. However, approximately three hours later, U-Haul attempted to withdraw $460 from my account. Thankfully, I had already transferred my funds, but this was extremely concerning and stressful during an already difficult move. This experience reflects poor communication between locations and a lack of accountability. Customers should not have to worry about unexpected charges due to internal errors. I hope this issue is corrected and that better communication is implemented to prevent this from happening to others.

very old equipment. multiple things were broken or didn't work correctly. The driver's door would not close correctly for example.
