When I picked up the truck, I had reserved 24 furniture pads. I checked in online as the office was closed. I did not check in the rear of the truck. When I opened the truck there was only 1 pack of pads. We did not need to use them and did not open the package. I did not call Uhaul to report the deficiencies. When I returned the truck I told the person that I did not receive the proper amount of pads, but that we did not use the ones that were provided and that I would like the missing pads taken off my bill. The clerk went to inspect the truck and came back stating that there were only 5 pads. I stated that we did not open the pack, and I would have thought there were 12 pads per pack. He stated that they used packs of 6. He then proceeded to tell me that he was charging me for 19 pads. I protested, not only the 19, but that there were only 5 in a pack of 6. He stated that the reservation stated there were 24 given to me and so there were 19 missing. I said that I only received the one pack, and now there was 1 missing. I am concerned that this is a scam that this facility is trying to run. They under pack their "6 packs" with 5 and then do not put the proper number of packs in the trucks. Most people will not check, and then when the truck is returned, scam the customer. The clerk was an older man with white hair and was extremely rude. He said at one point "So, you are calling me a thief?" I then called Uhaul to discuss. I talked to person named Wendy who stated that she would remove the pads from the bill. When I told the clerk this, he mysteriously was unable to get back to that particular screen to verify. I ended up talking to Larzo who ended up talking to the clerk on my phone to instruct him. He was even rude to him. Bottom line is that this may be a fraudulent practice of this facility and I would recommend a review. I will not return there, and do my best to persuade anyone else to do the same.

The location was amazing and helpful. But the truck needs break work. And front suspension work. The steering has so much free play the truck darts on road at hwy speeds.
