The gentleman who checked in my trailer could have been a little friendlier. Very matter of fact, no smile or conversation other than asking if I needed a receipt, telling me to pull up and responding yeah when I asked if I was done. Not rude, just not friendly.

U-Haul Contract 99694970 . I am VERY DISSATISFIED with my most recent UHAUL transaction, due to when I rented the truck last night, I was told that the estimated charges were $65, however, then $91 was debited from my bank account. Upon return of the truck I questioned this and was told that $28 would be credited back into my account. I have checked with my bank and it has not been credited back. I called my local UHAUL store to inquire and was told it will take ~ 48 hours for it to credit back. It took less than 10 minutes for the money to be taken from my bank account, but now, because I was charged more than I agreed to, it is going to take "~48hours" to get my money back ?! I expressed that this is not acceptable, and the man told me to call 1-800-UHAUL to discuss with Customer Service. I called Customer Service -- spoke with "Shawntay" - she actually then said "it takes 3-5 business days" to get the money credited back to my account. So this is getting worse by the minute -- with each person I speak with at UHAUL it adds another 2-3 days that I do not have access to my $28 -- this is not acceptable. I very clearly noted that this was a "debit" card, not a credit card -- and yet everyone keeps telling me it has to go through "UHAUL credit card processing". I have done business with UHAUL (even this very store) many times through the years -- usually I rent a trailer rather than a truck, and I usually pay with cash rather than debit card -- and I've never had this issue happen before. I have never been charged a $ amount that I did not agree to, and now have to wait til UHAUL decides to let me have access to my overcharge $. (I'm sure glad y'all didn't choose to overcharge me a couple hundred dollars !! ) I think what makes this even more frustrating was because when I got the truck last night --I made a point to tell the young man that it was a DEBIT card and so I asked him what is the amount of the "hold" that will be put on my card -- the answer he gave me, point blank, was that NO $ HOLD would be put on my account until I turn the truck in, at which time the exact charges (depending on milage/return condition/gas, etc. would be figured and then and that $ amount would be debited from my account. I was fine with that. However, immediately my account was then debited $91 and now I'm told I won't get the overcharge $28 back for 3-5 business days. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I asked Shawntay what we need to do to expedite the return of my money to my account (keep in mind, this is $ I did not authorize to be taken out of my account. I authorized $65 to be taken out of my account last night !!) however, Shawntay said there is nothing that can be done to expedite the process, however she could file a formal complaint for me (which I agreed that she do so). So anyway -- in the past I've always felt like my transactions with UHAUL are smooth -- well, this transaction sure has not been, and leaves me a sick feeling about this busin

Keep the interiors of the trucks clean, and inform the customers about how to fuel the trucks, adjust the mirrors, use the tow/haul or overdrive functions. Since this uhaul place is the only U-Haul in town they are able to provide less than stellar service.

All the guys were outside and outback working very hard, so they didn't know we walked in. Had to wait about 10 minutes until I finally walked into the back to let one of them know. You should have a method of letting them know that someone came in the front. There is one if your bringing a rental back, but not for a walk in.
