The vehicle was VERY dirty both inside the cab and tuck bed. The dolly was not secured. It was loose and on the other side of where it should be mounted. It sounds like the engine needs to be serviced. Clearly they never inspected the truck when it was returned. Unless, they did and didn't care that the truck was filthy and items left unsecure. Which could cause damage to the truck when driving. When I picked up the truck, I was asked if (6) hours was enough time. "I said, it should be. Is it OK if we run a little longer because I'm not exactly sure how long it will take. The rep said "YES. No worries. We don't have any other reservations for today." (6) hours would have been 3:00. I received a phone call at approximately 3:20 asking when I was returning the truck because someone else was coming to pick it up at 3:30. (Why would an employee make a reservation without verifying the vehicle would be available) I was so upset. Now, we had to rush. I told him there was no way I would make it by then. He asked if I knew when I would be done. I said, I'm guessing I can have it there by 4:30. Now, in order to make this happen we had to unload the truck and leave our belongings on the street. I still had to put gas in so I mean we rushed!!!! It was very hot outside, 98 degrees. We should not have had to go through this. I made it at 4:24. The female rep came outside to inspect the truck as soon as I pulled in. I showed her the pictures I took before leaving with the vehicle. I showed how dirty the vehicle was left and about the dolly. She said oh wow they should have check ed it and it should have been cleaned. (I thought, that's it) I told her I got here as fast I could since you have another reservation at 4:30 It's still dirty. She said, oh the customer changed their mind because of the cost. I couldn't believe they didn't notify me so we would have had to hurry in the heat and leave our belongings on the curb. I was livid! I have rent many times and have never experience this type of customer service and driven a truck in such horrible condition. I will no long go to this location and I am concerned about going to any other contracted location. Your request for revie reads, "We are always looking to improve our service or give credit where credit is due. Please help us with a review of your recent experience." Anna RThe store stated I drove 421 miles, when I had only driven approximately 45-50 miles max. I have never experienced an issue with a uhaul representative before until this afternoon. I am beyond disgusted in this type of behavior from a company I haven been renting from for years.
Qwiad MThe guy was super rude. Went off on how we were 20 minutes late and that he was about to leave for the day, yet he was detailing a car. He then went off about that The girl that usually works the front went out to lunch, because we took to long. I would not recommend this location at all!!! I’ve had experience with Uhual and it has gone well, but this was the WORST experience ever.
