Staff is great and never any problems, but I dont like dogs jumping on me when I come in. I love animals but think young untrained dogs should not be allowed to jump on clients coming in, and its happned every time I am there. Sorry, but its annoying and dirty paws mess up black pants...etc...

Be nice when you pick up your rental trailer that some service has been done on it. Had to bring uhaul maintenance person out to get tongue to work. Later in my trip had to pull over on side of highway and continue working on tongue. This shouldn’t happen?

We booked online weeks in advance for our move. $299 and 950 miles, to rent and return a 26’ truck to your rental depot in Surrey. The day before pick up, we were called by your staff to say that there was no truck available for us in the lower mainland and we’d have to make other arrangements, inspite of email confirmation to the contrary. This was unsatisfactory to us and we demanded our reservation be honoured, as we were moving the next day. A truck was found in Hope, we were promised our $50 reservation fee would be waived, that the original price of $299 stand, we’d have the truck for 4 days at no extra cost because of our travel to pick the truck up in Hope, and our mileage alllowance would be 1076 miles. We paid our contract amount in full in Hope. We went to Hope on August 7th. We returned the truck August 9th. The mileage we used was 483 miles. Well under the time and mileage restriction. August 10th, we received an email for $414 in extra mileage charges. The Hope depot directed us to customer service as ‘they just enter the data’. Your customer service office stated that the dealership entered our reservation as ‘in town’ as opposed to ‘round trip’. It was cleared up and we received confirmation by email that the addition charges were dropped. Of note, on July 31/18, our Daughter was also billed additional charges against her internet contract for use of your services. It was deemed her mistake, as your staff wrote kilometre vs mile amounts on her written contract. I’m wondering if the same mistake was done in depot to her? She was made to pay there as she didn’t have a credit card to hold. We understand the level of service and number of clients that your business must serve. It is however, appalling that, in spite of face to face interaction with your employees and personal verification at point of pick up and drop off, that this is not assurance enough to guarantee the contracts that you extend on your website OR in person, to your customers. This is false advertising, and blatant deception. We feel that this is definitely something your business should not be proud of...and most absolutely points of your services that all depots should MASTER. I am sorry to say, that in spite of your resolution of our issue, we. are incredibly skeptical about recommending your services without a huge warning to our friends and family. it was not the physical sites that were the issue but uhaul corporate themselves and their procedures were the issue. unorganized not service friendly but rather policy and procedure driven. This rental cost of time and money on top. our rental was 8 hours late than what we requested which meant we had to delay pickup of second piece of equipment by one whole day. When traveling long distances this put all of our plans in jeopardy. not cool......
