Every thing done at the Hope end was correct and when I explained what I was charged by Huntington location I was given a number to call and was told it would be straightened out as to the charges this was not the case and the person I spoke with was not one bit helpful. If and when I rent a truck again it is unlikely to be from Uhaul

The unit we rented could use new wiper blades.

It was after hours when I arrived in Hope. I left the car dolly beside some other trailers outside of the compound. I returned the next morning to check out properly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Was left to load a 6x12 trailer onto my truck was to my destination to find that there was a broken spring.and was lucky to arrive safely ...with my 3 yr old grandsons... Never Again!! They don't maintain their I had to drive a extra 70 kms to pick up!

The fuel was shown to be full. I filled tank: cost $46. Vendor amended invoice correctly. Why do you not have a policy where gas tank is full on pickup and delivered full by patron? Leaves customer with no grey area.

I originally ordered a truck from on line. When I got my receipt it said I had to pick the vehicle up at a location over 300 km away. I phoned to tell them I could not get there to pick up the truck. The next available pick up was 170 km away but I could get there. I was quoted $690 for a two day rental of a 10 foot truck. I had to take a greyhound bus to the location. When I Got there the price was almost $100 more than I was quoted. When I dropped the vehicle off I was charged another $90. I paid almost $900 for a two day truck rental of a 10 foot truck with no extras. Five weeks previously I paid $690 to rent a 26 foot truck for 3 days which included renting extra equipment and purchasing boxes. Bath locations gave me a 1-800 number to call but when I tried to contact uhaul there is never a manager available to take a call. I was told to fill out this review on line. It has been a very disappointing experience with no help from anyone.. had I been able to get back home from where I picked the vehicle up, I would never have accepted the the vehicle In the first place. Never again uhaul this has been a very very disturbing experience

24 hour safe drop off. Excellent.

It was Awesome & very good pricing especially helping a single mother move her 2 kids & majority of her belongings from Edmonton to penticton. The only problem I had no running lights weren't working at night but I continued forward & lucky police didn't pull me over. Thanks

Rude manager who would not take the time to explain the equipment to a first time user. Equipment that I was pulled over for because it had NO brake lights and most running lights were burned out. It had no brake lights, because there was not a DROP of brake fluid in the cylinder or lines. I begged the officer, and since I was close to home, he let us go. I fried my truck brakes ( I tow my horse trailer regularly, I'm no novice to various towing methods & brakes). Since this was the only car hauler trailer available and I was stuck, I turned a blind eye to the poor lights and brakes. Only on the drop off return, did I find the dry empty cylinder. The straps are poor and frightening. The jack was patheticly stiff. Corroded electronics adapters. Yeah... I kept lots of photos on return. The safety chains were a joke by anyone's standards. How the fuck you people get away with renting out shit & VERY dangerous equipment is beyond me. I will never use, nor recommend U Haul to another living thing. Now I'm looking at hundreds of dollars next week for my brakes on a 300km trip with your trailer that should have been scrapped years ago. God knows how many innocents your shit ass equipment endangers on a regular basis. Why even ask for a survey response when its very clear, U Haul does not give a flying fuck about their own equipment, let alone their customers.

Ther truck smelled horribly of rotten fish...made the trip a little unpleasant. The truck had been dropped off the night before and the team in Hope didnt have a chance to clean it and I needed it right away.

Don't have stickers on the trailer that say $20 cash back if returned clean and as borrowed, when this offer isn't offered!

Again, customer service at the location is fantastic. U-Haul itself, does not practice the same.

When someone reserves an item for 14.95....and they get their and up paying 100$ because they have to use a gas guzzling truck instead of the trailer they reserved it makes for a bad experience. A rental that was 30$ became 55 plus 40$ in fuel. Wtf uhaul!!! Not fair.
